The breakfast sandwiches are a little pricey but taste great. However, being charged a $1 for salsa after spending $30 on two breakfast sandwiches feels a little unnecessary.

So happy we found this hole in the wall in Santa Cruz! They do provide outdoor seating but it was raining the day we visited. Their coffee menu was average, but their chai tea was amazing! We had the kitchen sink bagel with freshly cut jalepenos on a tomato herb bagel and it was so cute and fresh! Big enough to split next time. Their burritos are fresh and big too, such a good grab n go breakfast place.

Go to coffee and breakfast spot in Santa Cruz. Very fast service and good quality. Minimal inside seating, but picnic tables outside.

My husband and I were in town visiting during a rainy spell and craving something warm and comforting for breakfast. The reviews for Firefly Cafe were really good so we gave it a go. Our bagel breakfast sandwiches were SO good. Honestly one of the best bagels (cheddar jalapeño) AND breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Mine must have weighed at least a pound! We also both got one of the special lattes (blondie and creme brulee) and they were also really good. I don't care for super sweet lattes and they made it just to my liking. 10/10 would recommend this place to a friend.

My bagel sandwich looked like it had at least 4 eggs in it- not exaggerating, it was just overflowing with egg. There was supposed to be other ingredients mixed into the egg but it felt like a treasure hunt trying to find them.

Amazing coffee and incredible breakfast bagels. Highly recommend. Reminds me of a place that would exist in Tofino BC.

Insane good bagel sandwich. Dude at the counter seemed like he’d had a better day. But I’ll be back

It used to be nice but they decided to close off what used to be their inside dining area so now there is no where to sit inside. Went on a rainy day to be cozy but instead was cold and wet. There’s also no bathroom which is ridiculous. Some businesses used Covid as an excuse to continue to be lazy even when restrictions were removed. This is one of them.

If I lived in Santa Cruz, I'd be in trouble! I ordered the Tango and Cash breakfast sandwich with egg added and smooshed between a delightful homemade everything bagel. This was a dreamy breaky sammy! My yumminess was washed down with a creme brulee latte and an extra shot of espresso for good measure. The staff was so sweet!

I got the jalapeño cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich with added egg. I also got a white mocha latte with an extra shot. Thanks to the employees for being so kind! It tasted great and the ambiance was so relaxed and happy.

Guess we should have come for the bagels. I just got the worst coffee I have had in SC.

Firefly was a funky fun experience. The line was long, and as the super nice server said, we often run out of things on the weekend so be sure to try us during the week. There's a reason they run out, it's really good. I got the breakfast sandwich with cheddar bagel. I'd sit in an even longer line it was sooo good. Well maybe not too much longer. Also not a coffee person but my iced chai with extra chai tasted sooo good! Highly recommended! Just keep in mind the wait is long and most seating is outside.

10/26/22 its neutral. plain and simple craves for you bagel lovers. breakfast bagel was good that i chose. i had it with roasted spicy garlic. so make you ask for that before getting mixed up saying spicy parm. service was fair only because i ordered a few things. when walking out, make sure you watch your step. almost flopped with my order. overall, nice lil joint.

Bagels are soft and chewy, more like New York style than normal bagels. Combined with their excellent fillings, their bagel sandwichea are definitely one of the best. Kitchen sync is amazing - jalapenos add just enough zing to crispy bacon and other fresh ingredients.

Both the spicy parmesan bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and the creme brûlée latte with oat milk were fantastic. Service was quick but personable. Will be back if in the area.
