Such an amazing breakfast spot. Really nice spot! Breakfast sandwich and burritos were very filling & full of flavour.

A friend who grew up in the area recommended we stop here while on vacation. This was one of the best vacation breakfasts I've ever had. The food here is everything I desire in a meal. Staples of breakfast with just a little extra. The quality of the food really speaks for itself. The drinks here are also spectacular. I will make sure to stop here again on my next visit.

They were out of chicken to add to a protein bowl and flatly refused to sell shredded pork as an add on when I asked about other meat options because “we’ve never done that.” Their food is cooked to order, so I don’t understand their reasoning. Poor customer service and questionable business choice since it seems like they’d rather make money on an upsell instead of losing out on revenue by being inflexible. Both employees I spoke to were dismissive/borderline rude. I won’t be back and would not recommend to others.

Horrendous dining experience. They make you order at the front after waiting in line and then you’re on your own to find a place to sit. Super awkward vibe with hungry customers watching other patrons with eagle eyes so they can claim their table as soon as it’s available. Tables are dirty because you have to sit down right as the devious party gets up or risk not sitting anywhere (or sharing a bench outside with random people). Menu is small with very little variety. You bus your own table, pick up your own drinks but they still hit you with a tip screen when you pay at the front counter before they’ve provided any food or service, if it wasn’t staffed by college kids there’s no chance I would tip here, 0/10 would not recommend.

It's hard to get a table here and the reason is that this place rocks! Now go give Sally Loo her due....that's the end of this review;)

Love Sally’s! It always feels like home. They have such a genuine and friendly environment with great tasting food. You can always find something unique and they strive to source organic and locally grown or produced items. The ambient interior with cheerful, warm tones features inspiring, locally made artwork. Outdoor dining is also available. Basically, Sally’s is a hipster’s dream cafe. 😍 Some gluten-free and vegan options are available. I had a tasty gluten-free vegan chocolate doughnut the other day while visiting from out of town, so good!

Warm, cozy and friendly restaurant with excellent baked goods and coffee. I like that they serve their drinks in washable containers that don't end up in the landfill.

So I just stopped in, had breakfast. The don’t go bacon croissant was HUGE and so dang tasty. I went back for a second root beer. And my card was declined. Since it was already opened, it was gifted. I feel bad, I Swore I had enough funds on my PayPal card. I will always come here when I’m in SLO. One of them #humanswithwings works here!

This place is thick with Atmosphere and the smell of good food. I had a smashburger and it was great. Everyone in our group loved the food. There really isn't enough seating for the demand, so that underscores how good it is. 3 lunches and a smoothie without any other drinks was about $60, so it's not cheap. Enjoy!

Giant step at the front door makes it difficult for anyone with children, a stroller or disability issues. Seating is first come first served and when you are waiting for your party to arrive, it looks like you are just taking up space. Ordering is a bit confusing and by the way- do not ask the "barista" where your regular coffee is that you ordered at the register, because that is not what she does. I made the mistake of ordering and paying for a regular coffee and asking for a to go container, which left me without my regular coffee and apparently some confusion for the person at the register. My daughter had ordered and was drinking her $9.00 smoothie, when a very efficient employee took it, thinking she was finished with it. We could not catch her in time. She was kind enough to offer a replacement, but we did not want to put them out. We had to give it a try.

They don't accommodate any requests for Changes to your order. They were VERY rude to my friend who substituted eggs in her food for soyrizo and they told her they wouldn't be doing that for her again after they got her order wrong. It was a very uncomfortable experience.

I ran over to this place from the train station in the pouring rain, desperate for coffee while we were waiting for our train which had been delayed 2 hours, only to find they had closed at 2 :( luckily for me, folks were still working in there preparing for a private event, and someone kindly took pity on my wet self and fixed me a hot cup of tea free of charge. I really appreciated that stranger's kindness <3 surely they are great people there. There was also a really cute baby in there so 10/10 experience overall. Thanks Sally Loo's! You made my nightmare travel experience marginally less miserable.
