Edit: Used to be amazing. Now I'm not so sure. I ordered the Tropic Thunder and they gave me this sad drink two days in a row (picture 2). They said they were out of matcha, and put all the matcha they had in the drink. I wouldn't have paid $9.40 with a tip for plain yerba mate without matcha. They could have at least said something before I ordered. AMAZING PLACE. I'm addicted to the Tropic Thunder drink here. The staff are very nice, so many options, and there's a loyalty program where you get a free drink after every 8 purchases. Great yerba mate options and non-caffeinated teas as well!

There are many options for delicious tea drinks. Hot/Cold tea drinks that will wake your senses. Everyone is very friendly. Hayley knows almost every drink and is very passionate about making your tea experience one you'll enjoy.

Cute ambiance for hanging out If you like a strongly brewed tea you probably won’t like it

We ordered the Princess Peach. Very delicate and refreshing. It’s not to sweet. It was a perfect amount to quench thirst and just reenergize. Very clean and cute seating area. Friendly staff. They stay up pretty late too which is nice for when you aren’t ready to go home yet but The everything else is closed. They have a big menu of drinks. Caffeinated or caffeine free.

Price the same as a Starbucks specialty drink but definitely a whole different ball game when it comes to tea.

I really wanted to like the tea here, as the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. However, the tea as it comes by default was so overly sweet and syrupy, to the point of being undrinkable. I couldn’t drink more than about 5 sips.

The cream tea drinks are all lovely! I get them 25% sweet and the flavor is still delicious with less sugar :)

Is a cute shop to visit in SLO. The inside smelled really nice and they had a nice set up with different tea and Asian food dishwares for sale. Tea was a little bitter than I expected since I asked for a naturally sweet/less bitter tea recommendation. (I got no sugar with my tea)

This place rocks, great atmosphere with kind and friendly service. We're on a roadtrip from Canada and we had the warmest welcome by Ally. She was very helpful and an all around good spirited person. SLO is an awesome town because of people like her :) 10/10

I come here all the time and it's always amazing! My bf has crazy diet restrictions and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about what he could try. The store itself is very clean and a great place to study. The drinks are pricey but it's worth it to support a local store and to study somewhere quiet.

I’ve never been a huge tea person myself but my girlfriend and friend are and I do not regret our decision to stop here! So many different options and the workers were really good about explaining each one. Very tasty and refreshing drinks, will definitely stop by again when we come back to SLO!

I was impressed with this tea house as my partner and I came here 3 times during our stay in SLO. Their loose leaf teas with cremes are delish and is still lingering on my palate. You have to check this spot out and give them a try.

Peaceful on a Thursday afternoon, great recommendations from the staff. The loose leaf tea in a paper sachet was brewed at the correct temperature, though I would have preferred that the bag was not left in the cup. A small selection of merchandise was pleasant and did not overwhelm the visitor. The absence of ambient music made it a perfect place for distraction-free conversation, contemplation or study. We will be back!

One of the only places in SLO with true Taiwanese oolong teas. Friendly staff too!
