Great food, beautiful patio, and perfect place to enjoy a meal or work remotely. You can also rent Bliss for private events and it was perfect for my event.
Beautiful patio and nice seating area. However slow service and rude staff sadly.
Fantastic smoothies and even better environment for work or study. Amazingly nice people and experience !
Tuesday lunch. The food was outstanding as were the friendly staff. My wife had the Burrito and I had the All day breakfast along with an Americano coffee each. Usually my wife will eat half the Burrito and give the rest to me, not today, she took it to go for dinner that same day, I did the same with my breakfast, there was enough food. Coffee was superb and in a nice large 12 or 16oz cup. The dining area was bright and cheerful. Highly recommend.
Wow, tried the breakfast burrito, OMG, it was awesome! Taste, texture, so many flavors……. The inside seating was great, spacious, airy, felt very relaxing, the outside space also looked inviting, a little too cold and windy though on our visit. We’ll definitely be back to try other items from the menu. Coffee was great too!!!!
Bliss catered my event and it was absolutely delicious, healthy and very affordable. They even gifted me an extra gift because that's the kind of people they are. Thanks for what you do! I appreciate what you're serving to the community.
Good bowls and plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is good. There are fewer indoor seats so the place might be crowded on colder days. There was a buffet but it was almost empty when we arrived around 2pm and they were not planning on refilling the items, so we ordered individual items. The Mango Habanero sauce was great and we used it to spice up our bowls. The acai milkshake was amazing too.
Worst hot chocolate and worst coffee we've ever had. Hot chocolate tasted like slightly flavored water. Extremely expensive too. Over $13 for 2 drinks. We threw away our drinks and went around the corner for better hot chocolate and coffee for $8 total.
I love how when u sneeze, they say, "Bliss you". And super hot guy workin there told me where el banõ was.
The Carne Asada and breakfast burrito tasted like chili. The customer service and vibes were good but the fake meat (at least the 3 dishes I tried) all tasted like chili. Which kind of threw me for a loop.
We were struggling to find a vegan restaurant for my mother. We found Bliss 😊 it was a great breakfast spot. We were the firsts ones in the restaurant and the staff was already buzzing with positivity 🙌 I ordered the Black Bean Huevos Rancheros 😋 Mom made a custom order and they accommodated her well. I love the vibe that Bliss is able to provide. I feel healthy just sitting inside the restaurant. I'm excited to return for more menu options. I'm happy I chose to go with the corn bread side option. Try their restaurant, a restaurant definitely operated correctly!
I love these places in San Luis Obispo. My daughter brought the Buddha salad home one day, and became connected with this place. The team is fantastic.! Thank you.
Friendly Service, great atmosphere inside or by the creek! Avocado Toast with a splash of lemon was amazing!
My Strawberry Omega smoothie with almond milk was delicious. Semi-thick consistency due to the blended chia seeds and very flavorful. Bryson was super friendly! Great guy. They use paper straws here! I wonder if the cup and lid could also be made from paper. Not sure if that would be feasible. I just really dislike plastic. Smoothies are 16oz at $10 after tax. A little pricier than Jamba, but the flavor and ambiance is SO much better than Jamba. I'll have to try the food next time.
Amazing flavors and variety for the buffet. Reusable container options and beautiful outdoor patio space. The quinoa salad and cheesy tofu scramble were highlights.
Really good food and the terrace is super cosy and nice in the middle of the nature. Staff super friendly, we recommend !
Must visit vegan place if you are in SLO! Nice ambience, great food and plenty of choices, Everything was great but Lentil soup was amazing.
Immediately walking in I was greeted by nothing but smiles from Ruth and Natalia. Looking around it was clear from the ingredients, all natural products (including authentic sources), and general positive aura of Bliss that pretty much anything you purchase will… well… make you feel bliss 😁. I bought an iced dirty chai and it was phenomenal with tasty chai and high quality expresso. Nothing but feel good mellow vibes at Bliss cafe. Would recommend to anyone in the SLO area wanting to relax, be free of the anxieties of a tainted supply chain, and zero stress of putting anything toxic into the body systems. Much love for Bliss Cafe.
Quite possibly my favorite spot to stop whenever I'm driving from the Bay to LA. A cute and fairly nondescript spot, I first came upon Bliss Cafe in November 2020 when I was making my first road-trip in a while down to Los Angeles, and knew I would need to stop for food somewhere. Turns out, a vegan spot in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo is the place to go, and it's been where I've stopped pretty much every time since. I typically get their cheesy scramble with a side of tempeh bacon, one of the Bliss balls (energy balls), and an iced coffee. The food is always delicious and fairly nutritious, with lots of amazing flavors and bites to enjoy. I always ask the staff what their favorite Bliss ball (or other dessert is) of the ones offered, and pick that one to follow up the meal. The iced coffee cannot be beat. Make sure to take your food out to the outdoor patio for a lovely, peaceful and serene spot to enjoy your food, and bring a friend or two to share in more of the extensive and delectable menu. Until next time, friends!
SO good, great vibe, and totally vegan! Everything tastes unbelievably fresh—that means it’s not the fastest place to stop for a bite, but so worth the wait. Will absolutely make this a regular road trip stop.
