Verve makes the best coffee in downtown north Palo Alto! My go-to is the missile, which is a cold brew with vanilla and condensed milk, but the gibraltar is always a safe bet. Indoor seating is pretty limited here, but when the weather is good you can pretty reliably find a seat outside. The vibe is pretty noisy & music is always bumping so a good spot for a chat/communal work but not for quiet focus.

Crazy line outside 😯 you can order online, but it's not going to help you get the drink faster. I placed an order at 11:40 and it was ready at 12:15 Great coffee overall.

My local coffeehouse. Great, friendly staff. Solid espresso drinks year round, busy or not.

The location here is super crowded and there's a long line out the door on weekends. Was really excited about having coffee at verve but ordered a cappuccino and it was way too milky. There was almost no foam at all. Seemed like the barista was worried more about making latte art than making a proper cap. Probably will just head to peet's down the street for a traditional cappuccino.

If you’re willing to do a line for a solid 10-15 mins then this your spot. Some of the best coffee around the valley, don’t expect a seat though, they go fast and there are a bunch of student campers who occupy well beyond a coffee and meal

Not a single power outlet - staff wouldn't even take my phone and plug it in behind the counter. Plus the tea sucked.

Went here for a quick bite and can highly recommend the Avocado Toast 🥑 as well as the Bao Green Tea 🍵 for tea lovers. Relaxed atmosphere and quite busy for a Saturday at 9am

A cup of pretty rich and pretty aromatic cafe latte, but that it could be better! Seats are a little too closed to each other inside the shop, but overall, there’s still a scarcity of seats due to the big crowd on weekend. A little noisy.

Simply the best in the city. Hardworking staff and delicious coffee. Great to meet up with friends, but seating can be limited at peak times, and the noise level can he high. Line moves quickly but it can be a 5-10 minute wait at peak times.

Terrible coffee. Rude bunch of people starting from manager. Go to Philz down the road if tin want to enjoy your cup and warm personalities.

Literal perfection. Their chai latte has the most amazing spices and is not doused in sugar. And just the right amount of HOT!!! I always have to say extra hot and UNSWEETENED everywhere I go, but not with Verve! They just get it !!!!!! Also, the staff is so professional and amazing. I had to change my pick up order time like 3 times, and they pivoted to have it ready just in time

they messed up my latte and misrepresented what they would be making. their adverts do not match up with what they’re serving. don’t get any of their holiday drinks

Excellent coffee, friendly service and great vibes! Tasty and unique pourovers. The flavour of the beans really shine through. They also have a healthy stock of roasted coffee beans to purchase for at-home brewing. Baristas were very knowledgeable and super friendly. They knew their coffee and gave me great recommendations. One downside is that there's limited seating. On sunny days, there's some outdoor seating, but otherwise, the inside is pretty small. Still worth coming for a quick pickup though!

We went there for both our first cup of coffee for the day. And it was already afternoon. Luckily we both loved our coffee and it was all good. They have an outdoor area to chill and talk on a sunny afternoon. It’s located in the middle of all the action of the street. You can’t miss it. We got a cappuccino , a cold brew from tap and a cookie. Everything from the first order was great and wiped out. My brother ordered another cappuccino but he was served in a to go cup that messed with the whole milk to coffee ratio for him. He might have thrown that. Great cafe in the hood. Might go back when in the area again.
