AMAZING! Love the food here and the people are great as well. Stopped in for lunch and I must say it’s very tasty! The Turkey bacon wrap is the best I’ve ever had! The albacore tuna on sourdough is so bomb! This place is a must stop and enjoy!!!

Great staff and a delicious deli stop. If you are looking for someplace to pick up lunch or snacks to take into Joshua Tree with you this is the place. Had a great albacore tuna sandwich from here.

Great coffee - cute little shop! My best friend and I tried somewhere else first but they were closed. Someone referred us here and I'm so glad they did! We each got an iced coffee and it had great flavor! We didn't eat anything as we had already eaten but their food looked amazing. They have grab and go healthy items too. The staff was friendly. Great location right on the main highway. Would definitely stop again.

High quality food, fast. The line may look a little long, but it moves fast.

LOVE this place! I have came here every morning for breakfast and a matcha, then every afternoon for a tea! Super cute, great food options and the staff is incredibly kind! I’d come here everyday if I lived here.

The Dez is a fresh deli with sandwiches and baked goods fine cheeses and organic snacks Yummy drinks to go. The baristas make amazing crafted drinks such as chai and espressos lattes and cappuccinos. Very well done. Great service fast and fun, I’m always so impressed by the speed and quality all in one. If in Joshua Tree it’s a must for the hungry traveler.

Very poor customer service. An aggressive staff member made an enjoyable day into a very crummy day. The Dez should recognize that they are in the service & hospitality industry. We’re locals and support our community, but if this business doesn’t address their poor employee attitude, we’ll take our business elsewhere.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon and the staff was very rude about having only four customers in at a time and keeping the door closed at all times. When checking out I attempted to pay preemptively and the cashier scolded me about the system failing… to the point that my guest and I feared ordering anything else! The coffee was average, the service was incredibly rude.

Very kind and friendly staff. They were able to come through for us on a last minute catering request for 10 people. Even helped with bringing all the food to the car!

Lots of options for various types of food and takeaway, with a great mix of local and craft items. Great vegan/vegetarian options, delicious coffee, and amazing service! Will return every time I'm in the area!

What a lovely find. We were staying nearby at the bungalows by homestead modern and wanted to eat breakfast on our patio in the sunshine. Drove to Joshua tree and stumbled across here and noticed the short queue outside (always a good sign). Overlong story short, just eaten the most delicious avocado toast (with red onions which made it!), cream cheese bagel, blueberry yoghurt and the best coffee on our trip so far. The owner gave us a buzzer to wait and called me ‘sir’ Tim. How could she know? I rarely leave reviews but this ticked all our boxes and then some.

Absolutely one of the nicest experiences I had at Joshua Tree. The lady said she really appreciated how politely I asked. I told her my name was Jeff, and she put me down as 'King Jeff'. And although I can't prove it, I feel like these sandwiches we bought were made with extra love. So yeah. I recommend this place. ✌️

Omg Amazing Food! I stopped by and bought a piece of German Chocolate Cheesecake! The BEST I've ever had in 50 years of life! Love these gals in there! Hugs, kisses and hats off to them all! Can't wait to try more of their menu items! Cool little place too!

I highly recommend The Dez in JT; the coffee was REALLY good, and the sandwiches we ordered were delicious—perfect for our hike in JTNP. Hands downs, this is the best place to eat in the high dez.

Went there to get stuff for lunch after hiking. We purchased Chia teas that were ok not spicy chia like I’m used to. We purchased quiche (bacon cheddar and spinach cheese) that we took back to our place and heated up later. They both were delicious. It was a very small place so be prepared to place your order and wait outside. The staff was friendly and fast at their job.
