If you’re in the Joshua Tree area this roastery is a must visit spot. They have a great coffee, an awesome space, and an all around great vibe. It is definitely the best place for grabbing a coffee on your next trip to the area. You’ll be remiss to skip out on the cozy outdoor seating as it offers a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying your drinks and some camaraderie with a friend or two. Also, they just recently reopened their indoor coffee counter with a newly renovated look which only adds to the whole Joshua Tree experience.
Crazy inefficient, meh coffee. I mean the drink was ok—not worth the wait nor hype. And anytime you see literally 6 staff standing behind the counter bumbling around struggling to be efficient you know there’s a problem. They were just lackadaisically talking to each other trying to figure basic stuff out while the huge line just stood there.
Nice place to buy fresh coffee beans for your espresso machine.
4 stars cause good coffee/espresso, but lost a star cause their "mocha" is not a mocha. It was coffee with a slight drizzle of chocolate syrup on the cup. Thats not a mocha y'all. Get it together.
I ordered a latte, but it seemed like they gave me something that more closely resembled a cortado or macchiato. Hardly any milk and 4 shots of espresso, but it was okay because i was so amped on caffeine that i could hear colors. they also have great merch
A little expensive, even by CA standards, but the best cold brew I’ve had in a long time
One of my go to spots anytime I am here. Best cold brew !!!
For a place that is locally famous, you expect a lot more. Cappuccino had foam you’d expect out of a vending machine.
I ordered a bag of their espresso roast coffee and was blown away by their attention to detail, customer service and friendly staff, and as always, roasted coffee of the highest quality. I mentioned that the bag I had bought the week prior was not of the same quality I was used to from them and the manager overheard this and immediately worked to resolve the issue by grinding the coffee themself. JTCC is hardworking and dedicated to serving their customers with care and making things right. **tip: visit their store on a non-weekend for the best customer care and for a more relaxed, less busy vibe. Always delicious coffee anyways!!
This coffee is fantastic !! Great customer service plenty outdoor seating
Smoothest, most delicious coffee I have ever had. Righteously cool people too!
Came at 4:30pm, no lines, no wait. But I could see this place getting backed up quickly and it being uncomfortable to wait around for a coffee in the heat. A coffee slaps specially, after an incredible day in Joshua tree. I must post spending a day at the park. Also- check out the bathroom stain glass window- beautiful!!
I know a bagel shop where they won’t toast your bagel. I know a deli that won’t cut your sandwich in half. And now I know a coffee shop that won’t grind half of the bag of beans you just bought. “All or nothing, sir.” Why? 🤷♂️ I’m guessing because like me, many people are in Joshua Tree for the weekend, and want some fresh-ground coffee to get them through a few days, before taking their remaining, unground bounty back home. And JTCC was like “nah, too much of this, enough, nope.” But if that’s the case, seems weird to make it a policy to refuse a service that lots of your customers are requesting. Don’t get me wrong: the coffee is excellent. Both the espresso and the beans. Really, really good. It just bums me out when businesses decide the answer to a simple request is “no,” when it could so easily be “yes.”
Wonderful coffee! I get a bag whenever I’m near, and now have subscribed. Highly recommended, even if you have to hike through gale-force winds.
Cool spot. Nice sitting area out back except it smelled… off. Coffee was good. Fairly quick service but not the most friendly. Maybe because they were busy and trying to get people in and out. Would go back for the coffee though.
Every time I visit j.t. coffee shop it's swarming with tourists and out of towners that I'm guaranteed a 30 min. Or longer wait. But the coffee is Devine and I'll keep on going back because it's worth it. ʘ‿ʘ
Tried the coffee on the Saturday morning market and loved it! I also bought a bag of espresso beans and got to enjoy them for weeks back home. It was really nice to get something more special, while California is mostly about filtered coffee that tastes about the same everywhere.
I got an oat milk latte and a bag of whole beans to go. Their beans were oily (so low quality I couldn’t even put in my ceramic burr grinder at $18/bag) and unfortunately I didn’t think their espresso was any good (sorry). Probably bc of the low quality beans. 3 stars for having non dairy options.
Delicious coffee. This little coffee place brews some terrific coffee. It’s also a popular meeting place for the community. Not to be missed when your in Joshua Tree.
Absolutely love it best coffee ever. I met a guy that works there ,I believe his name Michael, very nice I thought he was the owner or manager, not sure .. He was very nice and conversation was great.. shout out to Michael!,
