Great food and quick staff! Just what you want when you're grabbing something to go quickly! Heidi was our server and she was excellent
Very nice variety of vegan options for breakfast and dinner. Amazingly fluffy pancakes. We ordered the tofu with rancheros sauce for our young daughter because the waitress confidently told us it wasn’t spicy. Unfortunately, it was and she couldn’t eat it. But other than that we enjoyed our meals overall.
Did not get the chance to eat here, tried to stop in to grab a to go lunch. They no longer serve to go. Kitchen was not able to keep up with to go and table service. Great to see an establishment prioritize serving in store customers.
We love stopping at this place when going to joshua tree west entrance. The food is always delicious and the coffee wakes you up for the nice walks at the park. The French toast was really good. Mike's Mess is a must for breakfast !
The staff here was so friendly, we loved our waitress Emily. The food was standard good for a diner style restaurant but they had lots of options to appease all the folks in our group. Good beer and wine selection. Prices can't be beat.
Always busy, so expect to wait. I love BLT's I would rate their, Baltimore (BLT with avocado) as #2, of the ones I have had.
Food was tasty, but we waited about 40 minutes for food.
A mainstay breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Absolutely wonderful place with excellent food. Not great if you’re in a hurry, but perfect if you’re not.
Had lunch here and the chilli and cornbread was excellent. A real gem for a great value lunch.
Pretty dang good breakfast! I ordered the eggs rancheros and a cup of chicken cilantro soup!! Very tasty. It was small but worth the wait.
The food was excellent, fresh and really well seasoned, they even make their fries from scratch and you can taste the difference. Incredibly sweet, down to earth service. Very warm and welcoming.
Excellent food! I had a Reuben sandwich. We had an hour wait but it was worth it. Great coffee! The music was a little loud for me. Nice wait staff
We waited an hour for a table to only get overlooked aswell as a family in front that was before us. Seemed like favoritism with a chatty kathy who cut us both.
Best in J Tree. Fast, vegan, vegetarian & meaty. Jump on the bar for faster service (if you're flying solo and there's a spot). Great people watching.
I love this little place and went out of my way to come here when I found myself in the area a year after I originally visited. The Hell Burger is great and punny and the best seitan I’ve ever had. I’m sure I’ll find myself again here soon!
It was great, we loved the food and that there were vegan and vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly.
Great little diner used by locals and tourists alike. Great service and great Heuvos!
We waited 15 after sitting to put our order in, and then over 1 hour for the food to come out. By the time we got it, food was halfway cold and they were already closing up. Same for another table next to us. Server said the kitchen was backed up, which wasn’t their fault, but they need to give people a heads up if they won’t be able to eat until nearly 10pm. One member of our group has low blood sugar. Food was ok, recommend the classic diner options.
We had an average experience at Crossroads. We chose this place specifically for our post-hike meal because of the vegetarian options, but both of our dishes were underseasoned and unremarkable. We ordered the pancakes, soyrizo hash, and the huevos rancheros. The tortillas came cold, the potatoes in the hash were closer to uncooked than tender, and the rest of the meal lacked the flavor you expect from Texmex dishes. However, where other reviewers commented on possible racism or poor service, I though we received the opposite. Although it was quite busy, several servers came to check on us, took our order quickly, and brought our food out just as fast. I might not come back, but I can see why this place is a staple in JT.
Food was okay. It tasted bland, but I was very happy to have vegan options. Surprised how cozy and "old" this place was. They even served beer! Coffee was also great.
