Super yummy & plenty of vegan options.
Love that it's vegan and organic... the cupcakes are decorated so pretty and taste delicious
Awesome cherry pies, love the pulled pork and Mac hand pie. Definitely worth trying again. Employees are nice and also friendly
Stopped here for birthday cupcakes while we were staying in Joshua Tree. They tasted as amazing as they looked. The scones and other bakery items looked really good as well. Hoping to get back here again before the end of our trip.
Don't tell people about this place because it is sooo good. There was a line for lunch and it was deserved. Our Pasties had crust that was just the right level of flakiness. And the fillings were delectable.
Staff is very friendly and everything I have tried from here is delicious.
I've lived in JT for 5+ years and Boo's came when we sorely needed something better than cafe food. This bakery is amazing and organic and I love everything I've tried on their menu. I have to get their early (which is hard for me) in the morning to get some of their fan favorites that will sell out. But that makes me happy they are doing so well and bake fresh daily bread. During the pandemic lockdowns I bought a large freezer and I stocked up on the savory and sweet pies. The only pie I didn't love which supieses me was the chicken - it's was WAY too spicy hot. But the braised beef was perfect, as was the vegetarian/vegan options. Their spanakotta is divine, muffins, pies and cakes are EXCELLENT - they beat Whole Foods by miles. I always pre-order out familes b-day and holiday cakes and treats. Thank heavens for Boos! In my opinion they are the best in town.
Went there because the restaurants were mostly closed on Tuesdays. Happily surprised. We were looking for dinner options but didn’t want to dine in so we purchased a pot pie and hand pie to go and they were both delicious. Very easy to cook at home/VROB with the instructions on the label.
Oh goodness. The best bakery in the high desert. A holiday weekend and they were completely prepped for it. They were all so kind and I’m pretty sure we got one of everything . Can’t wait to come back… tomorrow….and it was all so delicious.
Amazing bread and treats. 100% recommend the reese cup cup cake, So Delicious!
Fantastic savory and sweet creations! My only disappointment is if I don't make it in early enough, they are sold out of many items.
I was looking for a baguette near closing time. The clerk asked if I was a local and proceeded to take a baguette from a plastic bag of 5 baguettes when I told him I wasn't local. As it turned out that bread was rock hard stale. Had to throw it in the trash. Not the quality you'd expect for the $5. I paid. Wasn't worth $1. Very disappointed.
Best vegan brownie ever. Two coffees and two big brownies for 12 dollars. Nice group of young people. Love it
Nice taste with healthy food
1/28/23: the baguette is good, the sourdough loaf is so so, too dense/doughey in the middle. We have been wintering in JT for the past 4 years. Stepped in Boo's Organic Oven for the first time this morning: clean environment, friendly service (thanks Eli), nice selection of cookies, pies, hand pies, and bread. The Egg/Meat/Cheese Hand Pie is delicious.
After EATING THE GARLIC sourdough with it's nice olive pieces,SUDDENLY FEELING BETTER. TO GET VEGAN bread this amazing is RARE. BLESSED to have this place out here. Support & tip.. They have gr8 phone manners ,which is rare today. Yummy
Best vegan options!!!!
Awesome Coffee!
Started as a Super rude experience even from ordering and went down from there. Should have known. $30 for literally nothing but attitude. No baked goods received. Said they threw away my only 5-days-old refrigerated pie after I said a day ahead that I wasn’t gonna make the pickup date (due to last minute holiday flight changes from weather) - and they still charged me!!! Upside: Someone there offered to put it in the freezer until I could get it, and I said ok! Great! Then… they called me a liar for saying that someone there had offered to freeze it for me, since I couldn’t come get it right away. Now they’re saying they can’t and don’t freeze pies. after saying they would absolutely freeze it no problem. They now say they’ve thrown this perfectly fine pie in my mind, it in the trash, which I find hard to believe on a perfectly good pie. Hard to believe refrigerated pie goes bad after 5 days as they say. I’d of rather had a pie than just nothing - theirs are quite expensive pies. So $30.05 for… nada. No replacement, no refund, no apology. Just attitude. Won’t be back.
Excellent product. I just wish I could get the local discount for the wonderful Dutch Pie that my family consumed tonight. Also the sourdough olive loaf sliced was excellent.
