I was at a store near by when I noticed this place. I stopped by and bought a torta cubana & iced mocha. The torta was okay its not really a torta cubana it's more of a sandwich with carnitas vs a true cubana. They asked if I wanted a salad or chips for my side. I went w/salad ... it turned out just to be lettuce. That's not a salad 😐. Probably will just go to LaBou next time.
I seen this on TikTok and dropped in. I sat in the booth directly in front of the counter for 20 minutes. They served two women in front of me and then the gentleman who came in well after I did. I never said a word I saw that they had been watching and chose to chat amongst themselves so I walked out. The two hefty men had the audacity to say bye upon me leaving. I also informed a couple walking in. Apparently some people aren’t welcome. Definitely giving that southern vibe.
Food was pretty good, I had a panini. the coffee was good also. I feel like the space itself is underutilized. Very simple interior with not too much seating and no key design elements. Service was good as well. I would definitely return. If you want something to eat and have a coffee. This is a solid spot in Elk Grove.
Super convenient location, great food and service. Highly recommend the Mexican Mocha.
Their cajita latte was AMAZING!
Loved everything. Food was fresh and delicious. The conchas were to die for. Can't wait to go back and try more of their stuff!
Amazing coffee and bread
Loved it! Everyone needs to try this place! Super cute and everyone is so friendly!
Food and coffee were both delicious. I had a breakfast sandwich and brought a turkey sandwich home. I will definitely go back
First timer! Came to grab a quick bite for breakfast and was not let down at all. Coffee was on point, breakfast was delicious, and service was awesome! Definitely going back! Check them out for yourself 😁
I was actually scrolling through Door Dash when I saw this place, but since I was headed down Elk Grove Blvd anyway I decided to visit in person. First of all, the decor and the vibe is 10/10. Super cute (just as cute as in the pictures!). Second, I didn’t try the pastries but I’m now regretting that because they looked INSANELY good! I got a cajeta latte and the avocado toast. (I had to ask what cajeta was too, so if you don’t know, you’re not alone - it’s like a caramelized milk.) The latte was awesome! Not too sweet; just the right amount of sweetness to balance what would normally be the bitterness of espresso. The avocado toast also 10/10. I wasn’t sure if I would like the sprouts or chiles but I definitely did! The chiles do have a nice kick, so leave them be if you aren’t into that sort of thing. The only thing that wasn’t total perfection were the potatoes. Don’t get me wrong - I ate them and I liked them, but they were ever so slightly underdone. Def not a deal breaker. Finally, the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. I will 100% be back!
I live in Fair Oaks and it was worth the 35 minute drive. Incredibly delicious! I had Chai tea, a burrito and very yummy tortuga conchas! Great service, very clean. I will return!!
Very cute cafe. Yummy mocha! Delicious breakfast burrito! This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. My little one just loved the mini turtles 🥰
This place is recently new I think. The barista said that they just open about a month ago at the time of this writing. I just got something very simple, a latte with sugar-free vanilla. I'm going to definitely try the dolce de leche latte later when I come back. The area has a good vibe, and the inside seems very clean and the coffee tasted amazing. I will come back here with friends
Amazing coffee & food!!
I was hoping this would be kind of a return to Elk Cafe which featured fresh baked pan dulce and traditional Mexican drinks :( Have it a try but didn't feel anything stood out. It's such a sweet space though. I wish them luck.
Cool new coffee bar with great food options and freshly made pastries. Great ambiance and Mexican inspired decor. Waffles were 10/10. Definitely recommend for folks in the area, we drove in from Natomas and it was worth it!
The cajeta latte was really good. I got an almond cookie that was great as well. Will definitely come back.
Food was absolutely delicious and a great value for the portions provided. Its a cafe with a mexican twist with unique items. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful given that it's their first restaurant. Will definitely be trying this
