The Hive Coffee House and Cafe

Really great atmosphere and the best coffee around. My Americano was extremely good. High effort put in to the decor, seating, and menu options. My new favorite cafe in York!

We had the chicken pesto sandwich and it was awesome! The young people working there were awesome! Definitely would go back again!

Staff is great, food is amazing, coffee drinks are the best. #1 choice to go to in the mornings

Cute place, lots of different sitting areas, great for meeting friends. Staff was amazing and friendly. Food was good. I had the soup of the day, ham and potato, and it was yummy. The smoothie was also very good. They also had sugar cookies and biscotti which I bought, but haven't had a chance to try yet.

Food is always good n fresh just wish they kept stock better. Who doesn't like something crunchy in their soup ? No crackers... no croutons... so last time I got tortilla strips, this time they didn't even have those.

Great place for a wide variety of food and specialty drinks and to hang out. They even have a nice outdoor, covered, patio area. Today they had many really nice vendor's with their crafts. This is next to Dottie's.

Just started a travel nurse position in York, drove to this coffee shop hoping for a good morning start. The service was fantastic and the food amazing (I had the apple chai, and the apple ham and cheese). What a good start to the next thirteen weeks! Thank you

Always love The Hive! I had the caramel apple hot latte and my friend had the caramel apple iced latte. It was fabulous and totally worth it! Love the atmosphere and they were hoppin!

Coffee shops like this don't exist anymore--around here anyway. Room for friends to gather comfortably, indoor or outdoor (the outdoor space is under roof and spacious) and sip coffee together or read a book, work on your mobile device, etc. Fantastic atmosphere and vibe, top notch coffee, and some truly delicious menu options. Places like this deserve loyal patrons, and I wish I was able to hit this spot 5+ days a week!

Cute place, nice atmosphere. Ordered an iced caramel macchiato and the BLT. Coffee was pretty good; sandwich was fine, it was served hot but the bacon was a bit greasy leaving the bread a little soggy. Coffee, half a sandwich, and a bag of chips for $11+tip isn’t the worst considering prices of everything these days. Additionally, it was interesting to watch the interaction between the cashier and a customer who displayed discomfort/anxiety with being in public/ordering. The cashier was very patient, kind, and made the experience seem easier for the customer by asking simple yes or no questions to make sure she understood what the customer needed; it was nice to see this because in most places this probably would have gone differently. I plan on coming back to try more items on the menu.
