We arrived about 1:30 pm and there was moderate crowd but the line moved quickly and we placed our order (Blue Burger w/ fries, Greek Veggie Wrap w/ chips, a pour-over coffee and a house brew). Found a place easily. Servers were pleasant and the wait was reasonable. Food was good. Would definitely go back.

We love this little spot for breakfast! Great for a small group or just yourself, as there's wifi and plenty of seating. There's a variety of options on the menu, including vegetarian options. I had the beet hummus toast and the blue butterfly latte.

Super busy, really good breakfast and lunch food. We enjoyed the quiche, turkey sandwich and breakfast eggs. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Peanut butter pie was amazing!!!

The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is great. I would definitely make a 2 hour drive just to eat here. We ate breakfast here twice and that was not enough. Every dish that I saw I wanted to try.

THIS. IS. HOW. IT’S. DONE. 👏🏼
Everything was just, WOW.
Let’s be clear, both the macchiato and the cortado were mine… the presentation and the overall execution was perfection. My avocado toast was really delicious, with the pickled onion giving it that little extra touch! You have to try this place out!!

Stayed at the hotel across the street and had coupons here for breakfast. Absolutely delicious. The crossiant was huge. The French toast was good and sweet. Coffee is okay, but could use a little more sweetness. Loved it and would come back.

A wonderful little place to grab a coffee and bite to eat. The staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and coffee is how you take it.

Plenty of seating, only thing I would desire is a bit more of a vibe with music.
I would go back.

This was our first visit to the Speckled Hen since last March and we're so grateful they are open for business and doing well. We stopped by for an early lunch on a beautiful, balmy day. The outside seating was busy so we opted to sit inside. We ordered our lunch at the cashier's station, received a table number sign and our food was delivered a short time later. My husband's french toast was made with cinnamon bread from a local bakery and cooked perfectly. My black bean burger, minus the bun, had just the right amount of "kick" and was nicely presented with bib lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. The fries had great seasoning and were delicious.

This place was probably one of the best places we ate at during our trip. This cafe had it all (at least what matters to me)...good coffee and great food. We ate breakfast there and I had the Lancaster quiche...basically a quiche with bacon, ham, sausage and cheese...SO GOOD! A patron at the next table got this french toast sandwich concoction that looked amazing and he verified for me. My wife got some type of hash, which she loved. The atmosphere wasn't crazy, very laid back. No craziness or people coming in like they are the most important person in the world, like I encounter at the neighborhood Starbucks. Wish I lived closer to the Speckled Hen...I would be a regular.

Great food, excellent service, and a cozy, family friendly ambience. My wife and I enjoyed some delicious burgers, the kids' food was very good, and there were even a few vegan friendly options for my in-laws. We were grateful for a cute playroom for our kiddos so they could get out some wiggles while we enjoyed our meal. We took home a slice each of peanut butter pie and lemon cheesecake and they were perfection! We will be back when we are in the area!
