Speckled Hen Coffee

Food was amazing! We stopped here on the way home from a trip on a whim. Came in with a group of 3 for a sit down meal. The facility was very clean, modern and inviting. All of the food tasted fresh, the coffee was well crafted and the people were lovely. This is not a “diner food” experience but an elevated cafe meal. We also purchased deserts and coffee to go and it was wonderful.

Fresh tasty food, incredible service, and entertaining for children.

The food tasted very good and my salad was super fresh.

The waitress was super prompt, genuine and very nice.

There is a small play area indoors with a kitchen and books and there is an outdoor playground with out door seating in the far back.

My 6 year old daughter loved playing with the kitchen and there were a couple other kids playing there too.

After we finished our dinner we decided to eat desert out back and let the kids play on the outdoor playground.

I definitely wish there were more restaurants like this and we will be back again :)

This place was great. Good service, great food. The menu has a good selection and the atmosphere is very pleasant… it can get a bit loud if it’s packed but it’s still a very nice place and a great time.

We went before theatre matinee. Gourmet coffees and teas, breakfasts and lunch. Super staff, all very helpful. Nicely decorated with local art. My mushroom burger and my husband's Lancaster quiche were both great. Parking a little limited, but we found a space. This was a great choice for food quality, time, proximity to Sight & Sound (under 2 miles), and great service and atmosphere.

This was not our first visit and it won't be our last. We walked after our workout hoping they accepted Google pay and they do! Delicious French toast and refreshing iced coffee and iced tea.

So glad we found this gem! We liked the menu options and decided to give it a try. Wow. The food was beyond amazing. We tried the soup of the day, buffalo chicken chili, and it was perfectly balanced with flavor and texture. The lavender lemonade was sweet and refreshing. The matcha latte was made quick and we liked it. The ham sandwich with pickles was my favorite. (I forget the name of it) The bread was outstanding! The bacon burger was so good too. I can’t wait to visit the area to try again. The pastries and other drink options looked appealing for next time.

You order at the counter then take the number to your seat. You grab your own glasses of water. The outdoor seating looked nice but it was raining so we sat next to the window for the view. The town is lovely to walk around.

Oh my gosh! Visiting from Central NY and this place is a treasure. They certainly cater to making their patrons feel welcome welcome and cared for. I absolutely LOVED the baked oatmeal!! 🫶 best ever!! Wish they were closer to home for me, but we'll visit again

The food here is delicious and was served very quickly. Aliyah was so kind to help us find a table upstairs as we had a party of 3 adults, a kid and high chair and the downstairs was packed. I really felt like that was over and beyond. Timothy was also very friendly and stopped and chatted with my MIL about the origin of the name Speckled Hen. We loved it and highly recommend it !

Saturday-Very busy but the young lady taking orders at the register kept a calm kind demeanor. The Ethiopian blend was good for us who desire a stronger blend. Blueberry white chocolate muffin was moist.
Prices weren’t crazy, seating was plenty. Overall a nice experience.

We were in town for a week and could not get enough of the Speckled Hen! Great staff and great food. Can't wait for our next visit.
