Oak Lodge

We stayed in one of their cabins and they are beautiful! We really enjoyed the soaker tub and beautiful views out of the picture windows. The breakfast was delicious and they were very accommodating to my being a vegetarian. We stayed two nights and experienced nothing but excellent service.

I recently stayed at the Oak Lodge with my husband and family while visiting Fallingwater. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Matt. His attention to us on our trip was excellent. Nothing but friendly, kind and accommodating. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful! It's clean! Spacious and they have everything you could possibly think of: hot tub, indoor pool, hiking trails, swimming/fishing lake etc. The breakfast was excellently prepared by Matt. He also gave us a private tour of the village they built on the property, which would make an excellent venue for a wedding or other event. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend getaway to enjoy nature or to pass a lovely night while visiting Fallingwater this is the place to stay.

Off the beaten path and private. Perfect get away if you want quiet beautiful view of the Pennsylvania mountains. The staff at Oak Lodge are kind and welcoming and want to make your stay amazing and will suggest places to eat or activities to do around the area. The cafe on the property serves tasty dishes such as sloppy steak tacos and fried chicken and waffles.

My husband and I enjoyed a cozy winter weekend here, only an hour outside of Pittsburgh. Our cabin had everything we needed for an "unplugged" retreat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away and relax! Can't wait to return!

The pet friendly cabins were amazing! Our floofy family member really appreciated the extra leash, bowls, and tasteful decor. Definitely would recommend for a weekend getaway with the dog and family!

What an amazing weekend staying at Oak Lodge for our anniversary! We stayed in one of their brand new beautifully designed cabins! The jacuzzi tub and heated floors in the bathroom really make this a one of a kind vacation spot! Matt (the manager) was so incredibly welcoming and personable, that we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. :-)

There are so many different trails to explore and nothing but the sights and sounds of nature to soothe you to sleep each night after a full day of fresh air. Not to mention the huge breakfast we enjoyed each morning up in “Jimberg”...the quaint little village located on Oak Lodge property where you can see the beautiful Chapel/reception areas that hosts weddings as well as the buildings that help create Oak Lodge’s very own maple syrup! Yes, we had *fresh* maple syrup at breakfast each morning! Mmmm!

We also explored the adorable little town of Ligonier (only a 15 min drive away) and found several things to do on our rainy weekend...Red Brick Yoga was a great way to start our Saturday morning as well as exploring all the great little shops up and down Main St. We also found several places to dine there depending on the kind of night out you’re wanting to have...anywhere from a quaint little table for two, to a burger bar with a bowling alley in it! Everyone we met was so welcoming and kind! Picture “Groundhog Day” meets “Funny Farm”...in a good way! ;-)

Lastly, we finished off our weekend with a couples massage on Sunday morning in the main lodge! It was SOOOOO relaxing! The massage therapists were professional and sweet and made a point to go above and beyond to make our time there incredibly relaxing.

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Oak Lodge! You WONT be disappointed and we will definitely be back!

Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful get away! The staff was so personable and friendly. Beautiful, clean cabins. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We can't wait to return!

We came here to stay for a little getaway and we fell in love with the cabin and all the tiny details. Recommend this place, there are trails to walk and pool and hot tub. Falling water is about 45 min drive away and there are some cute winery close by. Matt is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. We will be back.

Weekend getaway in the Dove's Nest, it was the perfect space for us! Not enough words can describe how relaxing, pampering and breathtaking everything was - from the food to the spa to the trails and the accommodations. We can't wait to return!

We went to Oak Lodge for a Pancake Breakfast and it is a phenomenal place. The syrup they sell is beyond delicious and the venue is simply stunning. It would be a great place to have a wedding. I was highly impressed and I hope to go back again!
