The Lodge was a beautiful location for the fall wedding we attended this weekend. The food was very good and the servers were wonderful. I can't believe how much was packed into the rustic spaces we saw when we pulled into the parking area from an adorable chapel, to a huge reception room for dining and dancing to a pub where hors d'oeuvres were served. I just know the pictures will be amazing!

Oak Lodge is the perfect getaway for any couple. The property is absolutely beautiful, and well taken care of. You feel like you’re on another planet, yet close enough to many wonderful destinations, from Ligonier, Donegal, Ohiopyle, Somerset etc. The owner Matt is a great guy that will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is unforgettable, from the beautiful clean indoor pool, the warm relaxing hot tub, and even the adorable cabins or lodge rooms you can stay in. Also the food is phenomenal, my wife and I only had the morning breakfast, prepared by Chef John, but you won’t be disappointed. So if you’re looking to getaway from this tough time during this pandemic, and want to forget about everything, this is the place to go!!

By far one of the best places I've ever stayed. Cabin was clean and quint. Staff was fabulous and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. The small village was rather nice too. I have photos of the chapel and the tavern included in my photos. Must see and awesome stay. Cant wait to go back.

Once we stepped foot on the property we fell in love with every aspect of it. Through the entire process before and during covid Matt and Alyssa were amazing to work with, they kept us up to date with local guide lines, to make sure everything would be ok. We wanted a winter wonderland wedding and we got it. At noon the skies opened up and it started snowing and didn't stop snowing. Matt came in on his day off to clear the roads and didn't stop until everyone left the property. Alyssa did a great job day of setting up the decorations and running the wedding. Alyssa had the wedding down to the minute and when the snow was coming down so hard that the golf cart couldn't keep up she took us around in her personal vehicle for pictures and to get to and from the main lodge and reception hall. My wife thought the day would be more stressful but with Alyssa there taking care of every detail, my wife could just relax and enjoy the day. Chef Anthony's food was absolutely delicious. Everything came out perfectly and was a hit among even the pickiest of eaters. Every building was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. As the Groom I had plenty of time to get ready, so I took my time eating breakfast, went for a swim in the heated pool and took a dip in the hot tub. The master suite in the main lodge was amazing and comfortable. The room was big enough for seven guys to get ready in and not be on top of each other. The same went for my bride who had 10 ladies with her getting ready in the eagles nest. Plenty of room for everyone to get ready without being on top of each other. Would highly recommend using this venue for your wedding, or even for a weekend get a away. We look forward to going back.

What an amazing place. Nestled into the highlands are these beautiful cabins with modern amenities. The acreage of beautiful hardwoods leaves a soft whisper in your ear as you lounge on the screened porch. Simply put it is a stunning way to enjoy the beauty of the Laurel Highlands.

It was luxurious for a cabin, high tech with a high end touch. From the way the sheets and pillows made you melt into your king size bed to the jetted tub. The café had a simplicity in it's ambience with a five star taste on your palate. I loved how the indoor heated pool and hot tub were big and open for your leisure 24/7. It was serene there, the waterfall near the office with live koi gave a tranquility you wouldn't expect. I adored how much freedom they give you on the grounds as if you own the facility, no one's knocking at your door hounding you for housekeeping and you don't need extra keys to enter the pool building and no set hours to enjoy the amenities expect for the spa. I would HIGHLY recommend this bnb to me it's underated and it's a hidden gem for anyone seeking a "glamping" feel with a top notch hotel touch.

This was a great surprise. We stayed in the Main Lodge and we happened to be the only ones staying in the Lodge. Everything we clean and the views beautiful. Chef John made us a fantastic breakfast which was included. I highly recommend Oak Lodge and will be back. We might try a cabin next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Wild Bill

My niece got married this past weekend it was awesome! And I usually don't enjoy weddings because it's the same old thing. But not at Oak Lodge

This place is amazing. I've never been more relaxed on a trip away with the hubby! The cabin has everything you could need the grounds are beautiful and the little village is so cute. Will definitely be back!!
