This place is Awesome. Coffee is great, as well as Homemade ice cream. They have the bank vault opened for seating, or sit close to the fireplace. Interior is Very well done. Currently closed on Tues and Wed while they make the Ice cream. You have to try it.

Cute place with a nice vibe. Different seating areas for privacy as it’s in a house. Has little collectibles for sale and the ice cream is great. I am recently dairy free and I was excited that they had several vegan ice creams as well.

Hidden Gem! Enjoy your Chai Latte and a fresh baked scone inside the bank vault! Kick back on a velvet couch and relax with friends. Shop local pottery and gourd art. One of a kind experience and highly recommended destination. Must visit!

This place has the best coffee and homemade ice cream around! The owners are nice, use locally sourced ingredients from other small business, and the shop has a comfortable vibe. Anyone who likes to support locally owned and operated small businesses should make a stop here. If you like coffee and ice cream, try the affogato!

Staff was friendly, coffee was excellent. I got one of the darker roasts (hippie something) and greatly enjoyed it. It wasn't simply strong, it was the perfect blend of smokey and rich. Not cheap, but definitely worth the investment for a local business. If it was on my commute I would stop frequently.

Great ice-cream and better coffee than a gas station. Not far from the highway.

Great breakfast we had there. Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean also, 5+ stars for cleanliness. Will visit again!

We were driving south on I-83 and decided to stop for coffee. Was going to go to Starbucks but decided to drive into Shrewsbury to look at the old main Street shops and homes. To our delight, on a Sunday late afternoon, The Village Coffee was open! Adorable vibe, beautiful old construction converted into a great coffee shop and gift store from local artists and craftspeople. Very attractive and charming on 2 floors. Excellent service and coffee. Now I can't wait for warmer weather to try their house made decadent ice cream! Just a minute or two off of Harrisburg expressway. Worth the stop!

Outstanding ice cream, made from scratch. The location is an old bank building on a quaint main street. Very much worth going out of the way for this spot.

Great shop with good variety of hot and cold drinks, ice cream, local granola bars, diet specific offerings, very cool gifts and decor...wonderful service. Owner was pretty grumpy...sad to see...it was the only thing negative about the encounter. I will go back for the many reasons above and to suppprt local business and its employees... but...really wanted owner to know any other bad interactions would definitely change my mind.
