I frequent here and always love the beverages and food! Staff is consistently polite and helpful.

Came here to get coffee and do some work midday on a Tuesday. There are basically no outlets to use whatsoever, which is a huge problem for a coffee shop. People usually sit and stay at cafes so they can get work done, which is impossible with no charging areas. The very few seats that did have access to an outlet were taken, by people who weren’t even using the outlets. Very unfriendly vibe and consumer base. Stood in line behind someone for over 12 minutes while they slowly pondered what to order and if they should purchase a bag of coffee. At this point I realized I was wasting all of my time waiting to even place my order at a place I couldn’t even do my work in and I left. I just went to a cafe that I know has charging areas, and got a nice coffee and lunch there. Fatal flaw for a cafe in my opinion, on top of the other issues.

I am sure their coffee is good. However their customer service skills are lacking. If you want me to pay top dollar for good coffee, and you only have one other customer in line and two people working..at least greet us. Don’t just look at us with no interest. Plenty of good coffee available in Pittsburgh.

Beautiful space, excellent coffee, and great music the first time we went.

I have an issue with the to go cups only, though. That's really terrible from a coffee shop that appears to care so much about coffee. I was told it's only on weekends. It is substandard for a place which presents as a high caliber coffee shop.

This was an ok stop. Very simply decorated, mostly unfriendly plants, and average coffee. Far better than the chain places, but for a small shop, there are some really excellent options to consider before making the drive to the Lab.

If you like simple but high quality coffee, this is the best coffee experience in Pittsburgh. The baristas are so good at what they do, they serve in beautiful locally handmade cups, and you can watch the team roast right where you’re sitting. The shop itself has a wide open indoor-outdoor vibe that is unmatched in the summertime. Do it.

Fresh roasted, single origin coffees expertly prepared. Worth a 15 minute drive at least if you love coffee. This is the kind of new age, fourth wave coffee shop that every city must have but rarely do.
Inside is chic and they have a variety of odd local things to buy and a selection of enthusiast coffee gear. Music is often a bit loud, but the garage style doors open up to make the shop expansive and welcoming. The place gets a bit smoky when they're roasting something past first crack but dies down reasonably quickly thanks to the garage door.
All in all, a modern coffee shop for snobs like me that care about extraction ratios but also built for the average joe--offering cream and sugar to those that want then. Do yourself a favor and skip the adulterants and enjoy your brew with all the origin character it was meant to show.

Wonderful almond scones and baked favorites. Cold brew coffee wasn't something to write home about. Atmosphere and service, fantastic. We will return to try other types of coffee

I really don't want your spotless customer reviews been tarnished. But my experience today is far from enjoyable. I came to this stop based on recommendations from friends. And I did look forward to learn something more about coffee and what were offered in this shop. I asked questions about different coffees and the answers I got was like you can read the notes. I didn't feel like I was welcomed, but more like she's been bothered...

Outstanding coffee! Freshly roasted on site and delicious. Creative and on trend specials and incredibly friendly staff.
