I got the pour over, which was quite smooth, if a little acidic. It was nice and hot, and not too strong. The barista was pleasant. I will go here again.

They've added more and more seating since originally opening. Very much appreciated by us remote workers. When the maple latte is in season, coming here is a must. Like to have a bag of their beans on-hand at home, too!

The best coffee shop we tried in Pittsburgh so far, the latte ratio was perfect and the atmosphere was nice.

The coffee/service/atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend. The barista poured some great art as well, which is always nice🙌🏼

Great space. so big! which is a huge feat for specialty shops. usually overhead is hard but i can tell they know their stuff, source their green beans well, and are trained well. Huge let down was where i ordered an espresso, and was told they don’t do “for here” and only to go on weekends. i think it’s silly to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to sell one item (and a very good item) and then have it tarnished by being told “i wont wash dishes” despite my heavy tipping. I would’ve understood if y’all were busy, but i’ve worked in some of the busiest shops in the US, and have never declined porcelain for an espresso. disappointing.

Very cool coffee shop. The bathrooms are clean and the staff was extremely friendly. And the coffee was outstanding. Don’t go to Starbucks come to a place like this. Help support local small businesses instead. Not greedy corporations that don’t even support the military veterans. Like Starbucks.

Having been here several times, I can safely say that this place probably has the best coffee in the East End. And *definitely* the best breakfast tacos at a coffee shop in the East End. It might seem a bit bougie but the folks working there are always super nice, even if you aren't a fancy coffee person. Their seasonal drinks are so good (omg the apple vanilla dirty chai 😍) and the music and atmosphere are A+. Definitely recommend this for a splurge-y weekday breakfast / morning working session.

I’m pretty particular about my coffee, but KLVN checked all of my boxes! They roast some amazing coffee and the baristas I’ve interacted with have been very knowledgeable and brew great coffee. Their single origins that I’ve tried have been excellent and lightly roasted.

Fantastic atmosphere. Lovely staff. And most importantly, incredible coffee (and pastries/food).
