The owner is quite rude impatient. I'm also not certain he knows or cares enough to properly serve coffee or related beverages. I used to live in Mount Washington and was told to avoid the place. My wife and I were visiting family and decided for a coffee and a stroll.
Aside from the owner being rude, we ordered and Americano and a cappuccino. They tasted like, and wife said she saw, it wasn't espresso used for either, but brewed coffee. The cappuccino was just the brewed coffee and milk, so it wasn't even steamed properly.
This place has a history of being this way, even worse to other people, too. If you're a tourist for the view, avoid this place for a brew!
Happy and surprised to be in service throughout Covid19. Been there more than once. Family owned. Very attentive to customers needs. Awesome selection of custom coffee. White chocolate satin ice coffee my favorite, so far. Local, fresh fish fillet sandwiches on the spot (two sandwich size in one fulfillment). Their Ice cream smooth and delightful. Cannot wait to go back for more.
This is the sweetest most welcoming little coffee shop in Mt. Washington! The owner was so kind, and made the best Chai latte I’ve ever had! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great cup and lovely service.
Really enjoyed the coffee and homemade pastries from here. We always enjoy going to a local place to eat and drink and this place did not let us down. Staff was friendly, quick and place was clean.
I read the review about the unpleasant experiences, especially owner being on the phone, not caring customers walking in, not wearing mask… so I was mentally prepared for all of that. However, being in a loud place (owner talking on the phone and with his friend) with a foam cup of tea still surprised me 😂 I will go somewhere else next time.
The best chai tea latte I have ever had! I went on Saturday morning for my first visit there and the owner was extremely nice and made the best chai tea latte for me and made a delicious Sugar free caramel macchiato for my sister, she said it was so good you’d think there was sugar! We enjoyed so much we had to go back today to get the same thing. I highly recommend!
This locally owned coffee shop is a breath of fresh air. The coffee was amazing and the owner was very humble. I was walking my dog and didn't have any cash on me. The owner gave me "one on the house." I will definitely be returning to this coffee shop in the near future. It is also in a great location, being on shiloh street and all. It is surrounded by great restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. Thanks again for the fresh cup of joe!
My husband, 11 month old son, and I were exhausted from Pittsburgh's hills and stopped in for coffee. We had no cash and the man working let us have our drinks for free. Such a nice place.

Great place to stop in for coffee and a muffin, cannoli (the BEST!), cookie, fudge, or other dessert which are all incredibly good.
Cash only (like their ice cream shop 2 doors down which is also INCREDIBLE). Nice environment, great place for locals and visitors.
