De Fer Coffee & Tea

Cute coffee shop sort of hidden off the main street in the Strip District. We found it because we saw a small sign on the main thoroughfare right by the parking area we used. I had the Pa Cuban and it was awesome! My husband had a smoothie, he's not much into coffee. He said it was good. He's not much into reviews either. 😃 The smell of the coffee outside will lure any coffee drinker inside. I would like to return to try more of their offerings.

This is my favorite coffee spot in Pittsburgh. AMAZING coffee, wonderful people, great atmosphere. Perfect place for a cocktail and hanging out or a day of work. They also sell great local art and treats. Can't recommend De Fer enough.

I subscribed to the monthly coffee delivery. The customer service is exceptional. I’ve received six months of different coffees based on my preferences and have loved every one. I’m sincerely happy with the service and product and will continue to order from de Fer

Great atmosphere for working or socializing. And you'd be hard pressed to find a better drip coffee.

Oh... and you can get an 8AM beer if that's your thing.

The missus and I stumbled on this place quite randomly on a Friday evening, of all things just looking for a place to pee. We found this place, ordered coffees and a small pastry. Absolutely delighted. I had a double espresso that was smooth as silk. The wife's cappu had an exquisite layer of foam. Oh, and the bathroom was quite good, as well -- plenty clean, well equipped.

Such a cool cafe. Great aesthetic and merchandise. They are always nice but definitely a pricey treat vs. a regular go to

Cool place that serves up coffee, pastries, adult beverages and has a decent selection of beans and other assorted items along the wall. Americano with lavender vanilla syrup was very good.

Seriously one of my favorite spots in the ‘Burgh. Quiet place to work? Check. Amazing whole food offerings? Check. Smooth, non-acidic in-house roasts? Check. Date night cocktails? Also check. They have it all. The service is always on point and everyone who works there is committed to excellence.

This is my favorite coffee shop. They have such a great, unique menu of coffee and drink items. I get something different every time. I recently had their honey clove coffee drink with a breakfast sandwich and they were delicious. They also have a good selection of sparkling shrubs, which are like a sparkling juice made with fresh fruit. I don't think I've seen those at another coffee shop. Really cute shop with a lot of goods you can buy there like craft bitters, teas, chocolates, honey. They also have cocktails and beer too. I can't say enough good things about this place!
