Large portions of home cooked food. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. There's a large variety of items plus specials of the day. The French onion soup is one of my favorites!

The Red Lion Cafe has gone downhill very abruptly. The new owner put her son in charge and he is running it into the ground. The prices have gone up drastically, the quality of the food is unacceptable for what you pay. I was told they have changed suppliers to save money and they have all very young people running the place. Within the last year I picked up a pizza that was cold, ordered takeout broasted chicken that was bloody in the middle yet, a pork chop platter that wasn't done and still pink in the middle as well as most recently miss quoted prices on the phone for hoagies. That was the last straw because the manager on duty refused to take care of the situation.
In the past I have spent a lot of money in The Red Lion Cafe. Was my go-to restaurant for cheesesteaks and pizza. The cheesesteaks haven't been the same for a long time. Honestly, I can probably name 20-30 people who have stopped going to the
RLC.
We can't imagine what the original owner who built this business from a hole-in-the-wall hoagie shop to an empire is thinking of it sinking. And if you talk to the owner now, she will say it's because of Covid.
Realistically, so not true. The ship is sinking because it is so poorly managed.
With all of that said; keep your eyes open for the new restaurant opening up in Summit Station at the flashing light. The Southside Grill is beautiful inside and the way it sounds they are just waiting for some zoning regulations to be approved from the state. Was talking to the owner a few months ago and they are going to be specializing in hoagies, cheesesteaks and things of that nature.
Your money is green people and will spend anywhere. Redline needs us we don't need them.
That's the way I look at it.

My parents dine in weekly, and love it every time! This week they brought me a fresh dough pizza. When they say “fresh “ they aren’t lying. This pizza is absolutely delicious! Love it! Will be in to try more goodies!

They have the best Pizza in the state, and yes, l meant to say state. We drive 35 miles just eat Pizza there. Love it.

Amish home styled cooking. The best food in town. This is place is our favorite for years.

Great food reasonable prices always 100% satisfied. That being said, I Booked their banquet room several months in advanced for a party of 22+ to find out when we showed up approximately 15 min. Early, that they have double booked our reservation. Which was a total lie, because the people only recieved their food...So They put us out in the regular seating area of the restaurant. I never was so embarrassed in my life, we picked this placed based on years of patronage, for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Which was totally ruined do to their unprofessional , INCONSIDERATE , booking skills. We had people coming from far away, and to receive this treatment was unacceptable . After 1/2 hr. Of some rearranging, Complaining from both us and as well as other people in the restaurant that could not believe what we had to go through on this special day! Eventually they put us back in the room we originally booked. No little amount of compensation can make up for ruining our son's special day or the embarrassment we all endured due to this inexperience of scheduling. I always spoke very highly of this establishment for the treatment we received on this special day goes unforgiven. Think twice before you use this restaurant as your venue.

Best restaurant in town, home style cooking, large portions. Come check them out!

This restaurant is better than all the other local restaurants.. hands down!

The main courses as well as the sides were all very delicious and the temperature of all of the food was perfect!
