Old City Coffee

My favorite coffee! It's ground to order, has a fresh aroma and tastes great.

My latte was so good I didn’t add a sweetener.

Good beans, can’t speak for the coffee drinks.

I had a very mixed experience. Employee was very soft spoken and hard to understand with her mask on. I understand the reasoning for the mask, but she needed to speak up.

The first latte I got was incredibly bitter and had a bad aftertaste. Almost tasted old or burnt. Someone with me tried it and nearly spit it out.

I went back and they were really kind and offered me a new drink. I got an iced cappuccino this time. I figured it would be sweet and it was not. It tasted like plain iced coffee with a little flavoring. The bitterness and aftertaste were still there, but better. I’m wondering if someone had just been doing it wrong.

Good solid coffee for around the Reading Terminal Market. window for to go, good lattes, the usual coffee. Recommend if you need a no-frills cuppa

Busy coffee place but excellent coffee and the best Iced Tea on the planet. The staff works hard but are very attentive and courteous. Worth the short wait for coffee.

This place was very fast and had friendly service, which is a plus. But, this time I think they sacrificed quality in favor of speed. The iced mocha I got was incredibly bitter and gritty almost inedible. The hot chocolate was mostly foam in the cup, and the chai tea was watery and near flavorless. I would consider trying it again, but for the amount we paid, it was pretty disappointing.

I love espresso and have been drinking it for two facades. I travel a lot and have had the opportunity to experience a variety of expresso types. One if my worst experiences has been the Old City Coffee in the Reading Terminal. While the roast and flavor is appealing the quantity is off and inconsistent. I usually get a quade ( four shots) espresso long shot. I have NEVER seen where a quade long shot is the same amount as a dopio ( two shot) long shot or regular dopio espresso. I have gone there several times, after a while, just to see if it was maybe something wrong with the machine or the person pulling the shots did not know what they were doing. It was not the machine and in my opinion an intentional way to save money by giving less of the product. If you compare their o shots to others, CEARLY, there is something way off

Very good coffee. My cappucino was just as good as starbucks and not as expensive. Regular coffee of the day is really good too. You get to put the milk in on your own and they have several non dairy options at the same price. They offer oat and soy milk from what I saw.
