Love! Space is cute and they kept the historic old charm. Staff is friendly and coffee is good.

Lavender lemonade was good. Not too sweet.

Almond croissant was soft with lots of filling.

Free drink when you purchase a bag of coffee beans. Our favorite is the Beekeeper Espresso

This is the most hospitable coffee cafe environment in Center City Philadelphia and they make the most delicious hot chocolate and cortado. Too bad the laptop customers don't reciprocate by making more purchases to help pay for the electricity, salaries and rent during their day-long encampment.

Elixr has good coffee and it's a great place in center city to sit down and get work done. Although sometimes it's hard to get a table there is a section of couches were there are dozens of power outlets. It has a hipster look and is really nice!

Very well done, espresso pulled by a professional. I still wish they would upgrade their milk to something more premium, but they are doing a good job.

Very good coffee although a bit pricey. Also it will be good if they offer any light food or viennoiserie. The order menu had only drinks. Maybe due to Covid???

Delicious pour over coffee served in a self-serve glass coffee carafe is perfection. Their pastries and decor make for a chill morning.

Popped in here looking for a place to work for an hour in between appointments in Center City. I needed a place to plug in because my laptop battery is shot and there were plenty of seats with outlet access but this place was PACKED for a Wednesday at 3:30pm! Lot of people just in here squatting with the same idea I had, I guess. It was still packed when I left around 5:15. I managed to find a spot at a ledge with an outlet but it was the last seat in the house! The music I felt was also a little bit louder than it needed to be just for ambience.

Capacity aside, I ordered a chai because I didn't want to freeload my electricity needs and this place makes a spicy delicious chai!!! Some places are real weak on the spice or add too much sweetness, but Elixr's chai was nice and toasty and super flavorful. I really enjoyed it.

I'd pop in here again for a chai for sure, but if I am looking for a place to sit and chill I might be hesitant to make this my first stop just seeing how packed it was on this occasion for a weekday afternoon.

Was really excited to try their coffee because I’ve heard good things. Sadly, I probably won’t get to because I will not be returning. It was pretty busy with one person at the register. So, another called me to the side to order to speed things up. He took my order and then disappeared. I hadn’t paid yet, so I stayed by the register. Girl at the register takes three more orders while I’m waiting to pay. Then the guys comes back, looks at me, and proceeds to take other customers orders. At this point, I’m like, “ok, I’ll just go wait where the drinks come out.” So I wait over there for another 10-15 min, and start noticing people who ordered behind me getting their drinks. So I left being very disappointed with my experience at Elixr.

The moment we stepped in we fell in love with the place, the decor and service. We we ordered the coffee and the bakery goods, our love deepend. Great place for coffee.
