The staff is so nice, the coffee is so good. They have wifi and a big seating area.

Amazing atmosphere.

They do their pour overs in a Chemex which makes for a great flavor with their fruity coffees.
I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Philly!

On previous visits, I've liked Elixr, but on my most recent visit, I felt like it was lacking. The service could have been a lot friendlier, and it seemed like the place needed a good cleaning. Hoping to return for a better experience soon.

Nice staff. Small place with a somewhat limited menu. Definitely has the cafe/ serious about our coffee vibe. I believe they roast their own. Went with my 10yo and we are not the typical clients.

Came highly recommended and boy, did it disappoint. The coffee is pedestrian, the cookie was embarrassing and the baristas didn't seem as interested in crafting drinks as much as just pushing them out the door as fast as possible.

I visited this coffee shop at 6.20 pm and I wanted to order coffee in a mug, as I always do. However, the barista said that they do not serve drinks in mugs during the last hour. So the coffee shop rather pollute the environment with the non-recyclable to-go-cups than use mugs for people who want to use mugs.

I do not agree with this “cafe policy”: not to use mugs during the last hour. So I definitely will skip this coffee shop during their last working hour.

IMHO, it was staff laziness, not the “coffee shop policy”.

However, matcha-latte is still topnotch in the Elixr.

The cappuccino, the vibe and the staff are pretty good! It doesn’t offer a lot of space to sit and whatever space is there is almost always full.

Pretty cool coffee shop serving the usual combinations of hot or cold coffee. I got the Kyoto slow drip cold coffee and it was delicious !!! The also have a selection of pastries and sandwiches that looked delectable.

This location is split level with plenty of chairs table and lounge like seating. It is on a quiet-ish street off Walnut and one can easily miss it. Prices are competitive compared to other coffee shops in the neighborhood.

I would definitely recommend.

I love elixr's coffee. Location feels like a hidden modern gem. One of the best place in Philly to grab a pour over. You can get a free pour over with the purchase of bag of beans!

BEST COFFEE SHOP IN CENTER CITY!! The staff is well trained and hard working, pouring so much passion into making the perfect drink every time! It's a great atmosphere with open space so even when they're busy it never feels to crowded!! This shop is the perfect example of good people using good products to make a good safe space for people to feel at home. Check it out if you get a chance, you will NOT be disappointed!!
