Cogito Coffee Philadelphia

BEWARE: This coffee shop employs "Laptop Police," who will wait until you have purchased your coffee, sit down set up your laptop, then come over and tell you that you can't work on your laptop in their coffee shop, and you must stop working on your laptop or leave. I have never felt less welcome at a business establishment in my life. It was not only uncomfortable for me, but also for everyone else who had to watch me pack up and leave.

Extensive high-qualify coffee menu. Food is pretty standard lineup of baked goods. The space is great: well lit, spacious, modern, and good WiFi. Staff are friendly and helpful.

let me just start off by saying AMAZING!!! Best coffee is center city Philadelphia! make sure to say hi to the super friendly staff and try out the espresso hot chocolate (dark choc ofc). great vibes, great people, and great coffee!

Nice to spot, glad they finally reopened. Coffee is good. No wifi available for guests, even though you can see their wifi signal exists...

Loved the interior and appreciated the friendliness of the staff but was extremely underwhelmed with my Thai Chai Latte.

Specialty coffee, this independent is worth supporting, great coffee, high quality grinders and espresso machine, all served in a nice airy space. Worth seeking out.

So overall the shop is cute and the coffee is good. Just a frustrating that a coffee shop does not have free public WiFi.

Super nice staff and an amazing cortado. I’ve visited their shop in Rovinj, Croatia and this brought me back there instantly! This place is a must visit for coffee nerds
