Barista was chatting away and skipped my order. When I asked about it, she was unapologetic and dismissive. After waiting even longer, I inquired a second time and was treated with very rude responses, not once but multiple times. If you want to be treated poorly, go to this place. Chip on her shoulder.

Great place to hit on the way home from work for an evening pick-me-up. Buy a bag (usually 2) of the finest regional coffee around and get a cup on the house. The staff is reliably informative about the different coffees on hand if you need help choosing a winner, and are all friendly, to boot. The seated area is just the right size for a neighborhood coffee joint which extends to the 2nd floor. I'll go completely out of my way at rush hour to get there before closing, and I hate traffic, if that tells you anything.

This place is in a great location. The staff is wonderful. Their iced coffee and chai lattes are amazing.

They were very quick with service and the coffee was delicious. Whenever I'm in town, I go here versus Starbucks.

Great coffee, tasty pastries, friendly staff, nice vibe and atmosphere, locally owned. Nice place to work, study or hang out.
Decor is outdated, needs indoor renovation, upstairs might get warm with no fresh air.
Update: WiFi issues have been resolved.

Really cute place with friendly staff and good pastries. Coffee was quite possibly the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I ordered an iced latte and a hot latte. Both just tasted like milk, almost as if they forgot to add the espresso. After waiting 25 minutes and paying around $15 for the coffee and pastry that I purchased, I was very unhappy. I like to support local businesses, but this place was a huge disappointment.

The coffee is delicious. Because of COVID 19, many customers don't realize that Chestnut Hill Coffee Co has a large roaster on the second floor. Chestnut Hill Coffee Co is the first NW Philadelphia to roast its coffee beans. Now 30 years old, my son and I can boast that we witness the original roaster chef (John) work on the first batch. I love this place. Thanks, Sultan, and all of the baristas throughout the years.

Came to NW philly to visit family and wanted to try something new. They immediately recommended this place. It was spot on. The latte was great. Service was very good. It was a bit busy but that did not bother me. They have some good nooks and seating upstairs if you want to get a corner to yourself.

Not a big fan of this place… the coffee is nothing special, the employees are apathetic and pretty rude most of the time, and the pastries taste like they were frozen… neighborhood is due for a new coffee shop
