This was stop #8 on our Northeast Coffee Tour and it takes the trophy. Out of 12 coffee shops, it’s the only one that gets 5 out of 5 coffee mugs.

I like this place. It's the coffee shop I frequent the most but that's mostly due to it's close proximity to the library. I haven't had a bad a cup of coffee or tea here but I do wish they'd serve hot food. Baked goods are typically fresh.

I enjoy the courtyard and vibe. The menu is a little limited. If you're looking for gluten free/dairy free options, your pickings are slim. The extraction of the coffee was correct and the quality of the product is good!

The coffee is very good and there are lots of options. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and rustic. It's my go-to spot on my day off. There is on-street and garage parking nearby.

Best coffee in Lancaster city. There, I said it. Still reigning coffee champion after all these years. Sorry new-to-the-area coffee shops --- Square One still holds the title y'all.

Very warm and inviting. Cozy!! The lavender latte is very good! Also big thanks to the staff for not misgendering me. It may seem like a small thing but it made me massively comfortable!

My favorite coffee shop in Lancaster. Small, warm, and a friendly staff that makes the place even more welcoming. As long as a seat is available, that's where I'll always be.

I love square one! I’ve gone to the cafe since I was in high school. I’d make special trips into the city just to get coffee here. I’m lucky now because I work just around the block so if I ever want good coffee or a break I just stop over! The staff is always kind!

Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Very knowledgable about coffee and the beans roasted in-house are second-to-none. The best place in the city for a cup! (I only gave the food a 2 because I rarely order food but Google wouldn't let me not submit a rating for it).
