I was in town for the weekend so I decided to do an espresso tour of downtown! This was visit #2

I ordered the Thaddeus Double Espresso and it was served with a spoon! This wins extra points because everyone knows that a good shot of espresso should be stirred not swirled!!!

The espresso was well prepared and you could very easily taste the brown sugar tasting notes presenting themselves as I started sipping the shot. Love this. I think caramel and brown sugar are my favorites in coffee. There was a heavy presence of fruit once the shot began to cool, not my favorite but I know a lot of people get excited about it! Like my other review from the weekend, I totally believe this place will make killer milk drinks based on how great the espresso tasted on its own.

I really enjoyed the vibe of the shop and it’s location.

Always a great stop on my way to work. Very cheerful and accommodating staff, terrific coffee, and fresh Danish. Highly Recommend!

Cute vibes, nice place. It seems like a decent place to grab some coffee and get some work done. However, their coffee isn’t bad, but more on the fruity side. I don’t prefer coffee that has a fruity taste, but if you enjoy that type of coffee I think you would enjoy Square One. The prices are reasonable and their house made vanilla syrup is very good. They also don’t have a wide selection a food, but I believe do offer items such as muffins.

This coffee house has a happy vibe to it! Is it because of its off-center location, its relaxed seating areas or its smiling staff?! Maybe because of them all. The coffee is good and that makes the whole experience one that is easy and enjoyable.

Great coffee shop for an expresso drink! Drinks were well made and it was a great atmosphere. Staff were also very friendly. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area and looking for some coffee or expresso drinks.

Nice coffee place with a for pay parking garage across the street from it. Bit of a small selection but has everything you really need. I got a pumpkin spice latte which was great and a regular coffee which was a little sweet from the start and had nice flavor to it before adding anything additionally to it myself. The place also has a good amount of seats if you did want to stay and enjoy your coffee there.

First thing first, if you're looking for an inexpensive cup of coffee this is definitely not the place. Despite the price though this is hands down the best coffee shop in Lancaster. All the coffee served here has been roasted by them at another location and is organic. Drip coffee varies from day to day and allows you to try different types. All espresso shots a measured and super consistent. There are some food options available and the seating is limited but nice.
