Square One Coffee Roasters

I’ve visited here several times and find the café overrated. There is wasted floor space that is needed for more seating when clients are there for hours with their iPhones or laptops and just one drink. My coffee has never been really hot; it is warm plus at its best temperature. Some employees have been pleasant and competent, while others are typical Lancastrian lukewarm personalities who really don’t enjoy their work. The pastries are overpriced for the quality. Forget asking for a pastry to be heated; it will be room temperature anyway.

Passed through Lancaster last week and stopped here to get an iced Lavender coffee. Was amazing!

Cute, cozy little place with amazing exclusive, small-batch coffee. During the warmer seasons they have a small outdoor area. Food offerings could be better, but I keep going back for the perfect coffee. Very welcoming staff.

I get coffee here every morning that I can. They have a new house brew called "hexproof" that is an amazing blend and the best coffee flavor I have tried so far. Very friendly staff and a comfortable rustic environment, and a large selection to choose from.

Okay coffee. Great free WiFi. But every cup of coffee comes with a free serving of attitude. They should stop trying to be hip and cool and be more friendly and service oriented. Also, seems like local grunge crowd hangs out there for hours for the free WiFi.

Great rotating coffee roasts, tea selections and baked goods.
Nice environment for hanging out or doing work remotely. Great people, and a nice walkable distance from the remainder of downtown.

Cool atmosphere and good coffee. The only bad experience was with their nitro brew ("The Velvet Hammer"); it tasted like vegetables and was horribly bitter. All their other drinks are very good, though, and service is fast!

I've been here many time but it's always outstanding service, great coffee, and the perfect place to catch up with a friend.

I don't like coffee at all and I almost like this coffee!! (black, no sugar!) They have a good tea selection and lots of yummy snacks. The outdoor patio/seating area is the best part of Square One.

Nice coffee shop in lancaster. Cool vibe, tons of sitting, though none of it is too comfy. Art work adorns the walls, but may not be to everyone's liking.

Coffee is nice. They stick to a short menu, no crazy concoctions at all. Things to eat are also in the same vein.. Limited to some sweet bites.

It could so with more options for food given that there is plenty of space both indoor and outdoor for people to sit and chill out.
