Giving this great place a one star just to share a thought with the awesome young owner. Stopped in twice..no seating available ...single customers spreading their laptops
notebooks over table for four..empty coffee cups..looked like they had been there a while and not planning on leaving or purchasing any time soon
Perhaps there may be a way to politely post signs reminding the folks who are enjoying the Wi-Fi and ambiance that after a while they should consider compacting their study hall to make room for more paying customers. Best wishes. Will try again soon.

Very nice prices & atmosphere! Very friendly too. I felt at home there while enjoying a wonderfully made cappuccino!

Honestly I've never had a better, more balanced cup of coffee or tea. It's all so smooth and just... Just done right! It's a little surprising. Cute minimalistic decor and very low key. Lots of students doing homework but I mean, it's right by a university. A wonderful place to sit and chat

The coffee is okay. They have changed their business to take out only. They don’t want people to sit down so they don’t deal with cleaning and disinfecting, they just want your money without work.
They have even tied down the table and chair outside so you can’t sit outside either.

Very clean and well put together place. Good coffee, good atmosphere.

Spent the day in Erie yesterday for an event that my son was participating in, and was lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. I have never had such a flavorful Americano! Freshest, highest quality beans and and perfectly brewed espresso without a hint of bitterness! My son ordered a vanilla bean frappe with added espresso, and absolutely loved it. Friendly and efficient baristas, and cozy and welcoming decor. We agree that it would be worth making the 1.5 hour drive back to Erie, just to get coffee from this place again ☕️!

The staff were so nice! I love the flexibility of having a coffee made here with several milk alternatives such as oat milk and different sweetener options as well. 😋

Always great service every time I visit. Ordered coffee to serve at a birthday party and they helped me figure out what I wanted and then went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

This is by far the best coffee shop in Erie Pennsylvania. The Baristas are extremely personable and have no problem discussing the coffee options and recommending their favorites which have never let me down. Their pour over coffee is second-to-none and brings out the subtle flavor varieties in the beans. They also have Chemex Coffee which is just like a pour-over only worth a thicker filter. Their espresso drinks are spectacular, and the baked goods next to the cash register are some of the best in town as well. I stopped at Ember + Forge every time I'm in Erie.

This shop is downright delightful.
The cappuccinos are delicious, even for a complete coffee snob from San Francisco (me 🤣). And the atmosphere is welcoming, with a historical vibe from all the exposed brick and architectural details (check out their tin ceilings!) and just enough pops of bright color to create that creative energy you want from a modern coffee house.
I managed to slip in four times while I was in Erie for the weekend. Had 4 different baristas. Each one was friendly, accomodating and lovely to chat with, which is refreshing to experience.
My mother, father, and cousin all enjoyed their experiences as well. Mom had ice tea and a Heath bar muffin. Dad had water with lemon (does that even count? Well, he did comment extensively on the great coffeeshop vibes. 🤷♀️). Cousin got a decaf capp as it was late in the afternoon.
The one thing I think they could improve upon is their muffins. We sat and debated whether they had been previously refrigerated or frozen due to the crumb quality and flavor. Disclaimer that my mother baked wedding cakes for years, so her taste on that account is more developed.
They also sell freshly roasted beans by the bag so you can take some of that deliciousness home with you.
All in all, this is by far the best shop in Erie, and it has become my number one choice for all coffee needs in Erie.
