Empire's Coffee

We found this place after staying at a airbnb in Bangor and we're glad we did. We like coffee...a lot! The coffee they use here is Portuguese and it is smooth and creamy. Great equipment in the store. It's an odd set up and we almost drove by it. Looks like and old 5 and dime store, and it has clothing racks in the back and seating inside and out. We sat outside and they brought our order to us. Prices were great too. Coffee was delicious, waffles were good and everyone we met was friendly and helpful .

2nd time at this little hidden gem in the heart of Bangor! What a fantastic experience each time! Great drinks and homemade food! Definitely going back again for the quick mid day pick me up

My boyfriend & I stopped here before going to the park, and it was such a great experience! Rafael is a certified barista, and I would give Starbucks up any day for the latte he made if I was closer. He made us feel so welcomed, had a huge smile on his face, and was genuinely a delight to be around. This is a family owned shop, and you can feel the love when you walk in. Anytime I’m in the area I’ll be stopping by!

Delightful, the staff was incredibly friendly and patient. Coffee was AMAZING. Sandwich was yummy. I'll be back! Also please add a tip on card option!

Omg! We found this place while practicing our first dance at the dance studio near by. Every time we are in Bangor we stop by. The food is AMAZING! The customer service is top notch.

I was so absolutely excited when I stopped by for the first time to see pastel de nata! Our first dance is a Portuguese song and we went to Portugal for our honeymoon. I’ve had the bifana and look forward to trying all Portuguese and non Portuguese foods here. If you are in the area, you must stop by!!

Rafael's good nature and friendly charm have made my stay here this past 2 weeks in PA. quite pleasant. I put him up to the challenge of creating a version of making my own version of a coffee drink I love back home in Houston, Texas. He put his own twist on it and created a Masterpiece! I'm so glad I found this gem. The coffee was delicious, as was the food. The young gentleman at the counter's superb customer service made the experience even better. I'll be stopping here next time I'm in town (and in need of caffeine and a friendly face).

This is such a great coffee shop. My husband and I went in for coffees and breakfast sandwiches and we were so happy with the service, the delicious breakfast and the fantastic caramel macchiato.

Coffee is AMAZING, server is amazing! Prices are absolutely incredible and it is a wonderful place to hang out with the charming set er and other customers!

Coffee was very good! And the young gentleman that took my order was very friendly! Will be back soon for the homemade empanadas!
