I’m new to town trying out all the local shops and restaurants/cafes. This one so far has been one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had. I came in and wasn’t greeted at all. Even when I came up to the register they didn’t even acknowledge me. Again being new to this place I was expecting a run down of the menu, but I got the opposite of that. The people working there seemed like they needed to wake up or get a different job. They seemed to not know what customer service is. Only good thing about this whole experience was my tea. Guess that’s what people come here for and not the atmosphere.

My son and I stopped by for breakfast and coffee drinks. We sat at the counter. We were not acknowledged by anyone (there were approximately 6 other customers in the shop). I was finally able to get a server's attention and asked for a menu. She seemed surprised we wanted to order food. We ordered our food and drinks. We ordered Avocado toast with bacon and egg. They were good. Here's when things really went south. I asked her for a check - again, with only a few customers it was impossible to get her attention. She said "okay." Fifteen (15) minutes passed. My son and I looked at each other in utter confusion. We could see our server and another server looking around to see where two coffee drinks were supposed to go - my goodness, only 6 customers, we had our drinks, and most of the others had theirs. Could they not remember, or by process of elimination figure out who to give the drinks to? Look for the table with no beverages! But I digress. I finally was able to get her attention and when I again asked her for the check she said "You have to pay at the register" to which I replied "But I still need a check to see how much I owe". We walked over to the register and I said "Do you remember what we ordered?" and she said "Oh, we're still working out the payment process" to which I replied "That should have been worked out before the place opened". We paid, left, and then wondered how long Wake can stay in business with such poor customer service and staff training. I want to see it succeed as I live in this neighborhood and love the concept. However, the staff does not seem well-trained or invested in the success of the business.

We love this new place! We loved the bar and coffee shop hybrids we’ve been to in other cities and are so excited that one has opened in our neighborhood. The coffee, beer, food and cocktails we have tried so far have all been delicious. The bright and airy space is a perfect place to come get some work done or relax and chat with neighbors. We look forward to the opening of the beer garden when the weather gets warmer.

Best coffee shop in Montgomery county! The consistency at this shop is absolutely unmatched. Everything I’ve ever had here is incredible, especially their cold brew and iced americanos.

Loved the Vibe! Great service, and Jeez that Coffee tasted Good! With a cute Design on our Foam! Had a great little time. Make sure you try their Sandwiches! They are the Bomb!

Cool location inside an old hangar with a quaint outdoor space. I’m just surprised they are still in business with their poor service and unimpressive coffee. With so many similar places in the area, they are going to need to step their game up if they want to survive. Much better coffee and service at Backyard Beans or Abyss at the moment.

Great local roaster I come in about once a month to get my coffee. There's always the standard coffee "blends" that they carry but they always have a couple new ones as well. They can grind the beans if you ask and they accept creditcards. Coffee is about the same price as in the supermarket, but I prefer spending my money at a local entrepreneur instead of one of the big chains, plus the quality is better!

Placed a mobile order, took 20 minutes before the barista started it and we asked if it was ready. I’d love to support a local business but the wait is too long.

It’s a nice place, but for me it was much too loud, loud music, the building itself has a loudness to it, high ceilings. It was a mild day weather wise but in my opinion not enough to open both large garage like doors, not everyone finds 60 degrees balmy. Coffee was good, people were nice. I’m sure the kinks will be ironed out, I wish them luck. Seems good for younger people!
