Really nice spot. Like the building, coffee is awesome. Service is fast. Slightly expensive, but overall very good.

Overall: fantastic local coffee shop in Ambler
Service: friendly and efficient. Order easily on a device or online.
Coffee: both Smoked maple latte and whiskey smash latte are amazing. Not overly sweet.
Vibes: cozy
Price: slightly expensive but worth the price
Dog: friendly both inside and outside

We had a delightful experience at Wake Coffee Roasters in Ambler. We've been looking forward trying new coffee shops in the area and Wake's did not disappoint. The latte and cappuccino were delightful and flavorful. Not pictured - I also tried the cold brew nitro and it was exceptional! It did not even need any cream! We also ordered the breakfast sandwich - the sweet potato brioche was fluffy and tasty with the eggs & sausage. My only feedback since they are experiencing a high volume of online/curbside orders to perhaps add more help in the kitchen. At least on the weekend, the wait was about 25-30 minutes. We had finished our drinks by the time the food was ready. We definitely intend to return to try out the beer garden!

This is a super cute cafe in Ambler that serves coffee and some good light breakfast that you can get on the go.
The inside is just so cute! If it weren't for covid I would probably go every day and hang there all day if I could!
I got the bacon egg cheese sandwich which was different than your average breakfast sandwich bc of the hot sauce and the brioche bun. It's a nicer version of a simple bacon egg sandwich and I really loved it! I had a latte with my sandwich and it was the perfect breakfast.
The staff there is really nice and I would 10000% come back here again.

No cashier but ipads to place your order on.
Not bad though as the barista is there to answer any questions you may have.
The coffee is good. Nice pastry selection.
Haven't had the food as I tend to go Mondays when they don't serve food. But I heard this was changing.

Really good! Good coffee. Friendly service. Lox toast! Interesting and delicious. Probably argue there was too much cream cheese, but that is me just being picky. It was great. I will be back.

I was really shocked at the poor customer service. When we walked in the barista standing around just looked at us as we looked around for a menu. Then thankfully another barista came out and told us we could order on the iPad. Would love for the baristas to be more welcoming and helpful. We also hate ordering on iPads for this reason because it’s so impersonal. The place is really loud. The coffee wasn’t bad. I can see the appeal of the place for those seeking an experience somewhere hip and trendy. I prefer a more cozy/friendly coffee shop.

By far the best coffee in the area with a great local community vibe. Using a EK 43 grinder for batch brew and will do pourovers. For espresso, using twin Mahlkoing K30 grinder, weighing the grind in and the shots out from their La Marzocco machine ensures well balanced and consistent shots. They are also roasting their own beans which are great and consistently fresh.
Nice selection of fresh pastries and delicious avocado toast to boot. Great space, light and a atmosphere suitable for kids, your dog, small group or on your own. Can’t say enough good things. It can get crowded and they are still working out some kinks but this place should do very well for a long time

When I walked in and waited for the kiosk which was obviously being used the first question I’m asked is “Are you here to pick up?” No one else is asked this just me. I’m the only African American in the whole place at the time and I’m asked “are you here to pick up?” The first question I’m asked if I’m asked anything should have been “do you need help with anything or have any questions about the menu. If I needed to be addressed by anyone with an inquiry about my presence. I sat there for a minute and watched… no one else is asked if they are there to “pick up” for door dash or whatever. I won’t be back do better.

Had a great time at Wake, and very impressed how this small business is growing in leaps and bounds. The vibe is relaxed, laid back, with a sense of hominess and warmth with room to stretch or work. My coffee choice was simple-try the local roast and brought enough home to get me through the day, although the macadamia milk cappuccino was killer. A great addition to the community with lots of creative events coming up. Will definately be back for more
