very poor service breakfast was awful toast was cold like a brick,homefries were like leather definitely left laying on the grill over a length of time disquisting
order a croissant with cheese & ham server brings toast either ham & cheese
then gets attitude when it's wrong her screw up takes it away
then returns says Oh we are put of croissants ? really staff should kno this so a bagel replaced that
no butter so dry unreal both plates were left with the food on them servers never ask why or cared!!!
1st & last time there
big supporter of small & local businesses
but not when they have attitudes & can't make a simple breakfast & no apologies..

We drove from state college to check this place out. It was FANTASTIC. We got the caramel mocha pancakes and the breakfast bowl. That bowl alone was worth the drive. Pancakes were also great. Definitely will be returning. GET THE BOWL.

Attempted to eat there this morning, I had a coffee with me when I walked in. Upon entrance, the employee did not greet my family or I, didn't offer us to sit down just stated that no outside food or drink was allowed within the facility. Won't be recommending or returning.

He did not greet us, say good morning, or ask us if we were eating in... And we do not find that policy in most places, we often times bring the same exact cup (Starbucks) into most places in town with no issues! Do not try to justify your rudeness because of a bad review. Shame on you.

I have had a wonderful time here at the Daily Grind! They have some of the best breakfast options in town and THE most delicious coffee options. I’m always excited to see what new stuff they can come up with.

Absolutely phenomenal staff! An issue happened with our order and we were brought a second meal, even after insisting everything was fine. Very courteous, friendly staff, and when my husband dropped his debit card, someone even brought it out to his car.
Absolutely recommend the strawberry stuffed French toast!

I drove by DGCC over 30 times before finally stopping for coffee because I forgot mine at home. This was a mistake… I wish that I wouldn’t have waited! The coffee is great. After a few visits for coffee, I finally tried breakfast and guess what… it’s great as well! Glad that I finally stopped in.

I’ve traveled from California to Florida to New York in the past 90 days, but nowhere has a breakfast been as incredible as the one I had this week at the Daily Grind Co. I had two other colleagues with me who agreed on this statement as well. The BACON!!! We really enjoyed the coffee as well. Highly recommended for your next time thru Altoona! Don’t go anywhere else.

Comfortable place & a delish vanilla latte! Mostly, I will fondly remember the wait staff who were ~ extremely courteous, attentive & helpful. I do hope you are able to maintain that enthusiasm. Some restaurant stafe loses those qualities the longer they wait tables. They helped me to feel comfortable, & I needed some comfort the day I visited.

It was my first time, & all ready a close friend & I are planning to have brunch there. Sorry I cannot give a food review, cuz I only had time for their latte that day. I shall return!

If only zero was an option…

Awful environment! The staff was very unprofessional and appeared dirty. As we walked through the door, several staff members looked at us and said nothing.. finally one of them abrasively asks us what we wanted.

So we had came with our own coffee, I had heard several terrible reviews of how bad their coffee was. So we stopped at Starbucks before hand and got coffee. We were excited to try their food though, we love local restaurants and try to encourage them in the area!

Ultimately, we were asked to leave before we were seated because we brought our own coffee into them..

It was an awful experience, would not recommend to anyone!
