Ok, great food. Nice people but horribly uncomfortable menu ordering process. They spent all this money on a menu you cant even see! What's the point?
I also see it as not being sensitive to people with disabilities. Not everyone can see well & there was no paper option menu. You have to stand at the register, to read the only paper menu, which puts you in the way of the current customer being served.
My suggestion to thise with disabilities or sensitives with social setting....is to go online to read the menu.

These bagles are my new obsession! The everything bagel is a must try!

About your average bagel shop. This old bank-turned-restaurant has a decently cozy feel inside with ample seating. Definitely a mom and pop shop. Had a moderate variety of bagels, bagel variants, and toppings to choose from, as well as coffee and coffee specialty options. However, service was quite slow, even for dine-in service early in the morning with minimal customers. Prices were a little higher than expected. Taste was alright; not the best but not terrible either.

Do not miss the chance to stop here. Coffee is great, bagels are great, and the sandwiches are bomb. I recommend grabbing your bagels and coffee to go and watching the surf and surfers at whale point. Or drive up to Gearhart and take your breakfast and vehicle out on the beach.

Completely overpriced if you want to build you own bagel. “Premium” meats are doubtfully premium. Worst part is the severe stomach issues I received hours after eating there…only food I had all day, so can accurately narrow down to the “premium” meat or cream cheese I are from here.

soooo good. Beautiful building and best bagels I've ever tried. The staff are hardworking and friendly despite being under stress of a lot of orders. So glad we stopped here on our trip.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bagels by the Sea and was thoroughly impressed with their delicious bagels. The portions were generous and satisfying, making it a great spot to indulge in a filling breakfast or snack.
For those craving the taste of Sieze the Bagel, this joint is definitely worth a visit. The bagels were loaded with tasty toppings and had a satisfying chewy texture, reminiscent of the iconic Montreal-style bagels.
In addition to the bagels, the coffee was also outstanding. It was clear that Bagels by the Sea takes great care in selecting quality beans, resulting in a delicious cup of coffee that perfectly complemented the bagels.
Overall, I highly recommend Bagels by the Sea to anyone seeking a satisfying and authentic bagel experience.

My husband and I had seen Bagels by the Sea on previous trip to Seaside but alas it was closed. Today we got a chance to visit and will never go back.
The line was 10 customers long which was fine, but it moved slow. We ordered a latte, a diet soda and one plain toasted bagel with cream cheese.
I sat in a green armchair while my husband ordered. The person making drinks with the shaved right side of her head was screaming at the nice polite younger male cashier. Super unprofessional. He was moving slowly but he was doing his job,
Then it took 30 minutes for 4 or 5 parties to get their food and drinks. I finally said to my spouse let’s just get a refund and go.
The shaved head lady with black hair came up - leaving 9 drinks ready with tickets just waiting there - and said she would try to do a refund and we might get our money back in 5 business days. I asked very calmly and politely for a receipt so I’d be able to call my bank since we’re from out of town. She started grabbing her head and screaming at us that she was going to quit because she didn’t know how to reprint a receipt.
I calmly explained that it’s a Square terminal and you can just go back in the transaction list and print it. The male cashier even offered to do it.
She just kept screaming and threatening to quit. Finally a calm employee with light brown hair came up and asked her to leave and offered to give me my $12 in cash so we could leave. She handed us our cold drinks and our cash and we left.
My husband’s soda tasted like it had soap in it. We are not sure if this beverage would make him sick- maybe the shaved head lazy had pumped sanitizer into it in her flustered state?
So for our safety, we threw both drinks out and went to Starbucks. Received our drinks in 30 seconds and they tasted great.
I feel bad for the people working here, but also it’s manipulative to scream at a very calm customer merely asking quietly and politely for a way to confirm a refunded charge, especially after we all (probably 10 customers) waited half an hour for food and drinks that appeared ready but were just sitting there not being served.
The whole experience was disturbing and I felt the employee was trying to make it look like I was being unreasonable when she was flipping out at us for no reason. I cannot recommend this place.

The bagels we're delicious. The good part of this review is over. We arrived around 9:00 on a Sunday. The place was full of people waiting for their food and one person in front of us waiting to order. We wanted to order 5 bagels to take with us with no prep required and before we could get that out we were told we could only order 6 bagels to go. The young man took our order and instead of giving us bagels he turned the order over to the kitchen. We waited 10 to 15 minutes before I got up and asked if I could cancel the order. At that point a douer women went to the kitchen counter got most of our bagels that were sitting in a bag and completed the order from the bagel case. And it was $3.00 per bagel. Every other bagel place I've ever been takes your order, your money, gets your bagels, puts them in a bag and let's you go on your way. Not these people. We won't be back.

I wish I could go 2.5 stars. Three seems too nice and two seems too harsh. My bagel came out pretty burnt. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good crunch, but it was just too much. If it’s coffee you’re in search of, skip this place entirely. They serve Seattle’s Best- which can be found at basically any gas station on the west coast. I don’t think anyone has had any coffee training of any kind. My latte was so hot that 10 minutes later I still couldn’t drink it because it was so hot. Overall, the environment was cool, and the bagel did have a great texture. Plus tons of cream cheese options. A good place to stop if your expectations are pretty low.
