This place has a special spot in my heart - high quality coffee and service (making it also one of the more expensive shops). Also, be prepared for unique flavors if you're not used to specialty roasting.

Heart has great coffee and they know their coffee beans. It's a great spot to sit and have an espresso. I wish they had a few more tables inside. When the weather is nice they have outdoor seating/benches where it's pleasant to sit and watch the street life.

I have tried every single boutique coffee roaster in Portland and Heart is, hands down, the very best! They source the best beans and roast them to absolute perfection! If you like a blend, the Stereo Blend is perfect for espresso or drip. I like variety and this is where you will find it, they only sell/serve coffee that is in peak season and the bags always have a roast date within a few days.

I stopped by for a quick cup of Americano. Great stuff. I also picked up a couple bags of beans to take home with me on the plane.

The space is great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The only issue is parking or better, lack of parking. This is a busy stretch of Burnside and you should count on a walk. On the other hand, a walk is good for you and the coffee is well worth the walk and the price.

Nice coffee shop! One of my favorites in PDX

The drip coffee had a bit of a pungent taste to it. I'm not sure what kind of roast it was. For the price, I would have expected better. Their lattes are also okay, pretty good, but when I start getting close to $5 for a latte, I'm expecting it to be amazing, and in general, they are not. So, it's fine, the decor is fine, the product is fine, but I feel it's a bit spendy and not amazing.

Really enjoyed their Cortado! Not a fan of their proof of vaccination to sit inside, but they do have a great space to sit and study or a quick meeting with friends.

Fine location. There's no wifi (per their policy). Not a pro or a con. Just a heads up.

Heart does not have WiFi, so if you’re hoping to come here and cozily get some work done you might be SOL like I was today.

Spicy chai was excellent as usual though

Got coffee beans, latte with walnut milk and croissant. All were over my expectation!!!!!!!!!!! Best coffee in Portland I can say!
