All the vegan options are SO. GOOD. I have food allergies that narrow my choices down to mostly vegan when eating out, and if I want to splurge on a fun breakfast it can be limiting... Nothing here tastes like or makes you feel like it's "vegan" food. I can't think of a better tofu breakfast burrito than the Bagheera (I like to add spinach and avocado, too) and the cinnamon rolls they sell come hot even after being delivered! Plus there's dairy free whipped cream, Oatly, Milkadamia nut milk, woo hoo! The options make me feel at home and I will keep coming back. Thank you, Flying Cat Coffee Co!

I now consider this my go-to destination for local coffee. I think that more than the taste of a mocha is important in a coffee shop, and the Flying Cat is full of flavor. Jan is incredible and makes everyone feel welcome. I've heard the cinnamon rolls are delicious, and the comfy seating makes me want to stay.

Such a wonderful little gem of a place! The staff was very kind and respectful, the food was delicious, and all the cat-related artwork was positively charming. (I especially liked the picture of a black cat coasting an 1890s bicycle.) Thank you!

Good coffee, comfortable and quiet. A great place to get work done. There are plenty of large tables to spread stuff out but also cushy chairs and sofas. Cute atmosphere!

Very friendly staff, good coffee, and great vibes! I love this coffee shop, it's one of my favorite places on division. I come here fairly regularly and will continue to do so!

A longtime friendly relaxed coffee house with really good food options for vegetarian and vegans as well.
During the pandemic the staff are just as friendly and addapting there service to follow guidelines...

We dropped in for coffee and a latte. There are tables outside with umbrellas and inside were couches and additional seating. Great cup of coffee and the latte was "everything right" about lattes. In the back are board games and kids toys. Reasonable prices and good service, this place is on the repeat list.

Arrived 5 minutes before closing and the barista was so personable and made one of the best cappuccinos that I’ve had in a long time. Next time I’ll arrive earlier 🥰☕️🐈‍⬛

Yum! Delicious lynx purrito. I had to double check that the sausage was vegan halfway through the meal because it was so good.

Visiting Portland and my son led us to Fling Cat Coffee. Mellow sitting area and delicious home made sandwiches. The Barista had a quick smile and and welcoming personality. This place is Portland at it's coolest.
