Really tasty coffee. I wish the menu had not gone vegetarian/vegan as they used to have a fabulous breakfast burrito with sriracha and bacon. But the coffee and kitschy atmosphere makes up for it, almost.

I love this coffee shop. I've never experienced it crowded (although I did tend to go weekdays). There's a mix of comfy couches, small and large tables, and plenty of plug-ins. The coffee and food are delicious and the staff are always friendly.

This place feels like old Portland. I thankful this place still exists, its a stark contrast to the rest of gentrified division. Comfy eclectic seating, chill Baristas, good music, and quality cat material decorate the cafe. Win/win in my book. My only complaint is that I wish they had vegan food as well.

For about 7 months now (including today!) I have been going to Flying Cat on a once monthly average. I am vegan, and the menu items are perfect. I love the vegan burritos and shoofly baked goods. Lattes are always good too!

We go in here at least once per week. Always great and friendly service! Delicious drinks (lots of options!) with a selection of alternate milk options- for those in need of such things. 👍🏻

I was here for the first last Sept (2016) and meant to leave a review but apparently forgot. The staff/owner make you feel like you stepped into the only coffee shop in a town of 500 people where people are friendly, laid- back, and unpretentious. The bathroom is clean. The food is delicious, and the beverages are made to order.

They have games in the back such as scatergories, and seeing the interaction between 2 separate regulars and the person on staff was sweet. The employee was a nice human and the cafe was cozy. The coffee and bagel I had were good too!

great place. disregard the yuppies reviewing this establishment. they're one of the only gems on a block of division st that has become a bleak, whitewashed tourist trap.

I love this place, can't say enough good things. Friendly, funny, personable service. Want a cookie, she'll probably bake some while you wait.
We hold meetings of our quirky little community group here and they are always welcoming and accommodating. Prices are fair and reasonable and there's a really great selection for being such a tiny spot.

I'm glad there were plenty of vegan options. But other than that, I don't see the appeal. Aloof, slow, hipster service. Eerie quiet inside. Surely they could do better.
