Extracto Coffee Roasters

Cute little coffee shop near Alberta. Pour over took longer than a latte or Americano, but was totally worth it. Also had an excellent almond pastry. Friendly staff, great atmosphere.

All in all a great spot for a damn fine cup of coffee. Don't come if you're in a rush.

Fantastic coffee and local art on the wall. It doesn't get any better than Extracto. They recently donated coffee for our neighborhood intersection painting. We love our local coffee shop!

Omgoodness, this was a delicious find! I loved the in-house roaster. The coffee and pastry were both delish, and the service was very good, personable.

Love this place, just such a bummer they don't open till 8 these days.

We have gone to extracto over a dozen times over the past year. It has excellent ambiance with a very tasteful playlist of music that usually is jazz or downtempo music or shoe gaze. They decorate their lattes and matcha which is a treat. Also their matcha is ceremonial grade which I appreciate as the flavor is excellent. They always have local art for sale with an interesting narrative behind it. The servers and cashiers are highly professional and enjoyable to be around.

It does not get better than Extracto. We are there every Saturday morning-

They take pride in crafting every drink

Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about coffee. Inside has a huge infographic listing tons different types of ways to brew, benefits to each, ratios of coffee to liquid to caffeine content, definitely sets them apart from the million cafes in town. Ian has never let me down with a recommendation. Only downside is that these guys are so good at what they do the line kind can get a little lengthy, something I can't hold against them.

Perfect little cafe, not snoby at all, relaxed, lots of seating, and great matcha.
