Niko is so personable, knowledgeable and outgoing. I can’t wait to get my coffee fix with Coava. I work in the building and the aroma goes all the way to the 4th floor! Such a great place- bar none.

I had some of the most delicious coffee in Portland here! The baristas are very excited to share their passion with you and tell you all about the coffee, but not at all in a pushy way. At first I was sad that they don’t do pour overs in this location (I had heard great things about Coava’s Chemex brews, and this was my first time to any of their locations), but when I had their drip coffee and their cold brew, I had no reason whatsoever to be disappointed. The best coffee I have had in a long time!
The space is cozy too! They have lots of seating to get work done, but also a comfortable couch to sit and unwind from a stressful day.

I got a coffee to-go, it tasted good. The staff were friendly and nice. Seems like a chill spot to post up and write erotic fiction. No one has to know what I'm typing on my laptop, just us dear reader.

Wonderful place to stake out and get some work done. Lots of stools and surface area facing away from other folks to focus. Also a large communal table if you’re working with a pal, or sit on the large L-shaped couch and relax by the fire with a book. Sounds do echo In here as it’s a “tall” concrete type room.

Staff was helpful and I really enjoyed my danish. I skipped on tea, I felt it was too pricey.

Great coffee, probably some of the best I've had, great food. Only disturbing thing was the bathroom, toilet seat covered in urine and the hand wash was so watered down that it appeared to be almost straight water and when I asked for a knife they handed it to me by the blade (safe but not sanitary, especially given the hand washing situation in the bathroom).

I loved my experience at Coava! The baristas were friendly and helped me select a drink that fit exactly what I was craving. I decided to order their Honey Latte and it was incredible. I would highly recommend stopping here for a delicious beverage!

Coava consistently delivers one of the best almond milk cappuccinos available anywhere. Stellar coffeemaking! This location has been fairly quiet every time I've visited, and is perfect for grabbing a quick drink or staying a while.

I was referred to the location by a respected couple who have their own rapport in the Northwest for roasting coffee. I have just moved to the area and am in search of a shop to frequent, but the pricing and novelty crashed over me with disconnect and irrelevance. The coffee was good, but nothing far greater (for the pricing of a single cup $3 and refill $1.50) than the competitive market. I may return but will not frequent the shop.
