Fantastic coffee, and a pretty extensive range of eats for just about everyone! Thank you for the wonderful experience from the moment I walked in the door! Warm, inviting, and well managed. Long line went quick.

Great little coffee shop with great seating options. The coffee is very good and the baristas are skilled and knowledgeable. So whether you like black coffee or a fancy latte like beverage, they have good options. I'm not overly impressed with their food, but I do like their in house parfait.
The biggest con in my opinion is the parking availability. It is on a busy street and has a tiny parking lot.

Busy on a Sunday afternoon with university of Portland students studying, so a quiet cafe. My friend and I met for coffee and kept the conversation quiet but the space was very inviting, the staff friendly and cool nooks all around the cafe. Delicious sweet treats and morning snacks available.

Great atmosphere, delicious pastries and coffee. They have seasonal syrups for their drinks, and I'm pretty sure they serve tea. The staff is very friendly! Parking lot is small, and one of the ramps is rough on low clearance cars. They have outdoor seating and bike racks.

We went here for brunch and were so glad we did. The cafe is casual, with a friendly staff. We enjoyed the license plates lining the walls and the mismatched dinnerware. The scrambled eggs tacos were very flavorful and fun to eat. The spiced pancakes had a nutty flavor with ginger and cinnamon highlights.

Get the marionberry and lemon roll! Wow! This place has a quiet zen with very sociable staff and delicious foods.

Really great spot, whether your intention is to get work done or to catch-up with a friend. Plenty of outlets for the computer users, and comfy spots to sit and chat. The decor is big thumbs up and the baristas friendly. I can imagine this being a lovely place to go when the weather is warmer. The drinks are wonderful; we had various loose teas, a rosemary-lemon-basil soda, and a peppermint mocha, and all were delicious. The pastries are also amazing (we went with the caramelized onion and pepper jack popover). However, keep in mind that due to popularity, it can a bit crowded. We didn't have an issue, but we got there relatively early and it did fill up.

I moved to Portland about 3 months ago. I have been looking for a great coffee shop; one with comfy chairs, friendly people and yummy coffee. Cathedral is that and more! Their pastries are amazing! The latte I ordered is one of the best I have had. Go to Cathedral...you will not be disappointed!
