Cathedral Coffee

We arrived there 10 minutes to 5pm and the staff there was so welcoming and were open to giving us some great suggestions for adding some pep in our step even though they were closing at 5pm. I got a honey lavender iced coffee and my boyfriend got a activated charcoal mocha. Both drinks were absolutely what we needed. The décor had an outdoorsy cozy feel that would make you want to spend the whole day there reading or working away on your laptop. Highly recommend, friends. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

I love this place! Super vibey and relaxing. Today I ordered a macchiato and that thing was SMALL. I'm so used to ordering at SB, I didn't realize it's normally Barbie doll sized. Jillian and Aliya were amazing and asked if that was what I had in mind when it was made. I laughed and said "no" the ladies were so amazing and remade me something that I was picturing. I obvs need to learn what actual coffee drinks are. Love them! Thank you Cathedral for hiring outstanding humans!

I've never been anything but delighted with the pastries and coffee. Their mocha was delicious and not too sweet which was perfect with the lime vegan doughnut (delicious, but I liked the nonvegan treat my stepmother got even better). The only warning I'd give is the heavenly mushroom folded bread thing I got was spicy enough I'd advise against it if you're sensitive.

I love this place! The space inside is really cozy and functional. They have two private gender neutral restrooms and a lot of lovely outdoor seating. They have good and unique food and coffee, great vegan options, and it’s dog friendly. The staff is friendly and hardworking. There’s really nothing I’d change about this place.

Washed my reusable mug for me spotless. Above and beyond what I expected when I asked. All that and the coffee and matcha are both good. Seating inside and out, and good wifi. They also offer a variety of thing to eat including bakery items and hot food. Fantastic choice for coffee in north Portland.

A wonderful coffee shop with ample indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is superb, and they have a nice selection of pastries and other modest breakfast items. Super friendly and chill people.

This is a great neighborhood coffee shop! Excellent coffee and baked goods. The laid back atmosphere is home to many studiers from the nearby University of Portland.

Visiting from out of town! Employees were super kind and helpful! Recommended a spinach/tomato jam/mozzarella foldover (one of the tastiest breakfasts I've ever had on the go!) And a honey lavender latte (equally delicious). Such a great stop! Definitely check it out.

My favorite chocolate chip cookies in town! Everyone who works here is so welcoming, and the coffee and house-made pastries are incredible. The savory turnovers are delicious, and they always have some veggie and meat options. My advice for the winter menu: peppermint mocha. For the summer menu: Beach Brew.
