This place is so good it would have 5 stars in Portland just as well as off I-84. Friendly folks, chill about substitutions, great portion sizes, flavorful and fresh. Get one of the biscuits or a burger!

By far one of the best places I've eaten at multiple times. I was an over the road Trucker up till a year and half ago when got hurt bad and ended my career. I would stop everytime i come through and gonna miss it. Awesome owner and staff and food.

Amazing cafe! They make everything they can in house. Great prices. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and bunch of amazing pies and baked goods. Our server was great. The clubhouse sandwich was great. You can’t beat the bone in ham!

Glad that we stopped to check out. it's not the best cafe and wouldn't stop again. Not because it's bad, it's just not so good I'd want to stop again. The pies are not good, so definitely a skip. Canned peaches and clear gel? Pass!! no one wanted to eat it after one bite. I never had pie that looked and tasted so displeasing. The homemade fries came cold and soggy which is weird because we were there waiting for the food to be made. They were also dark DARK brown and just wrong. posted pics. The actual meat was fine, but the hamburger as a whole was meh. This place is definitely overrated. Truckers still looking for a gem on 84...

Before entering we saw a very anti Kate Brown sign and thought “okay, they’re probably struggling, let’s try it.”
So this was our first time coming in and we didn’t know that it was “seat yourself” so we stood there while the waitress at the bar was staring at us before asking if we had a to go order. I asked if we seat ourselves and the waitress threw her arms in the general direction and said, very obviously annoyed, “yes.”
We seated ourselves and immediately that same waitress told us we didn’t have to wear our masks. I’m fact, no one was wearing a mask. She then proceeded to tell us that they closed the grill down early because they are closing for a week so we’ll only be able to order fried food. Okay, let’s just split a seafood basket then. Another waitress came over and took our order. Before we could even react she very impatiently asked, “soooo, can I take your menus?”
On a positive note, the food was good but the price was higher when rung up.
I’m not normally out this way but I don’t think I’ll come back if I ever am out here again.

I've eaten all over the world. This place definitely deserves a positive review an is now one of my top 5 favorite places to eat. The service is amazing, the food is amazing.. it's like your eating real home cooked meals so much so that you will forget you have to finish driving to wherever your trying to go. If you're reading this trying to decide stop wasting time an stop in for some of the best food the United States has to offer.

UPDATE: We've ate here on a couple different occasions for dinner lately... Not good at all. 50 minutes to a hr for french toast and eggs, hashbrowns and a hamburger patty we never received. They need to see how the food is getting sent out. Greasy, raw hashbrowns... Sorry we won't take the drive to eat here anymore.. It used to be really good..
Good food.. But a little pricey.
