HIGH MARK'S ON EVERYTHING! If this rating system allowed for me to award the stars I felt were appropriate, I would have given them 100.

I really love giving great reviews, and hate giving horrible ones. I hate giving somebody a horrible review, because that hurts their business, but sometimes businesses deserve it, and I feel people need to know. This review however, makes me feel so much better for any negative review I have ever had to give. What a great way to start my day.

This is a family-run business, and you feel that family feeling the second you walk through the door. I met the owner of this business yesterday while I was shopping. He was pushing an entire shopping cart full of eggs. We started talking back and forth, and he told me about his little restaurant in Nye Beach, which he was very proud of! I thought to myself, "Man, I've really got to go check this place out", and from the moment I walked through the door till the time I left all I could think was that this man has much to be proud of.

I cannot wait to eat here again, which will be tomorrow. I'm bringing my best friend here and introducing her to this lovely establishment. She is a big breakfast girl, and she loves going out for breakfast early in the morning. She's really going to love this place.

I wish I would have taken photos today, but I will take photos tomorrow, and I will update this review with my experience from that meal.

Really a pleasure to enjoy the Crab Cake breakfast special today. Lots of crab! No filler but maybe an egg to hold them together. Everything on the plate was perfect: scrambled eggs, hash browns, sourdough toast, tartar and jam. This is a small operation but really deserving of our support. UPDATE: it’s been a year but today we had the amazing Baked French toast with a middle layer of pecans, topped with a Marionberry compote. Wife ate a Southwest plate with Black and Pinto whole beans, Spanish rice and greens with Avocado and tortillas. This is also a winner and Cafe Nye is Better than ever! Service was great! Five stars again

This place is amazing! When we lived in Lincoln county my family would go here all the time and we always had great food and service! Tuna melt is the bomb and amazing chowder. I don’t like most places chowder but they know how to do it right! I’m a picky B and I love love love this place :) Can’t wait to visit the coast and go here again!

Best breakfast!! I had the mamas boy omelette and it was hands down the best omelette I’ve ever had. On top of the amazing food, the hospitality was great. They were pretty swamped, but everyone was super on top of it. They were kind and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Definitely will be back!

Excellent service, excellent authentic home made foods and a very clean establishment. I had the chile relleno breakfast, which is a delicious casserole style dish, with home made corn tortillas & beans. Also comes with 2 eggs. Looking forward to trying everything else on the menu. The price was a tad steep, but you can't beat food made from scratch.

Chile rellenos, biscuits and gravy, and burrito. The service was friendly and quick. They had indoor seating. The jam was made in house and very good. The biscuit and gravy were just ok. The burrito was bangin’...loved the peppers in it. Great salsa. Nice place, would try somewhere else before returning.

Great good, nice people - slow if it’s busy but the quality of the food is worth the wait. Lots of home-cooked (from scratch) food made from fresh ingredients. Huevos, hash, and omelettes were all excellent.

They had us at “homemade sourdough bread”. Everything from Jose’s service, the yum factor of the cocoa, (🥰made fresh and drizzled with chocolate sauce) the presentation and warmth of the space would bring us back! The chille rellenos baked in custard was TO DIE FOR🏆. With 3 teenagers, we are a table of critics and everyone of us left happy and stuffed! Did I mention the homemade Marionberry jam, and fresh berry topping served with whip cream that took the waffle and pancakes to the next level 💫Hector, the owner, visited our table multiple times to personalize our dining experience. We can’t recommend this place enough!!! The quality of the ingredients, flavor and hospitality are worth the drive alone! Nye beach Cafe II is our new favorite place! Also worth mentioning is we talked to a few locals who eat there on the regular and shared it’s their favorite place!

This may have been the best meal we had the entire weekend in Newport. It was definitely the friendliest service! The fluffiest biscuits, the best Belgian waffle, the yummiest kids bfast burrito, golden hashbrowns, and the tastiest vegan breakfast sandwich. We will be coming back the next time we're in Nye Beach.

Great tasting biscuits and gravy, it's peppery and sweet and I am suspecting home made. The coffee is good too, a smooth tasting lightroast. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and I took a bite. Fluffy juicy eggs folded in with cheddar and bacon and buttery toasted sourdough. Yum! The service was excellent too.
