Arriving after a helpful phone conversation with the manager, Katelyn, I was directed to Rylee, the roaster, who spent twenty minutes explaining the different options and helping me pick blends to try. I sampled two varieties and purchased three four-ounce packages of whole beans, an excellent option for someone who wishes to experiment at home. I'm looking forward to trying the coffee and selecting one to use regularly.

Favorite coffee shop in Hood River. Solid coffee/smoothie options, great staff and good environment to get out of the house to work at (especially in the afternoons when it's usually quiet).

Coffee to keep your stoke level maxed out! Excellent customer service and delicious coffee. Watch out for Parker he’ll remember your name and exact order every time it’s weird. Katelyns cool and makes sweet latte art 😎.

Great place for coffee offering a variety of milk alternatives. Its right across the street from the Hood River waterfront where you can watch kite surfers. And relatively close to the Kite Surfing event area. The coffee shop doesn’t have the typical coffee shop ‘feel’ but more of an industrial appeal where they display roasting equipment in a section of their shop and they offer free WiFi. The coffee drink itself is great as I have ordered a coconut cappuccino and coconut iced latte previously. Will continue to visit this place when I’m in town 👍

Sasquatch peanut butter chocolate espresso is my favorite thing here

Outstandingly delicious and not acidic dark roast (they roast it there). Don’t go to any other coffee house in Hood River! Friendly staff. The inside is sparkling clean, but why not take a stroll by the waterfront outside instead?!

Great coffee!!!

Is it everyone in Hood River? A bunch of unfriendly Californians moved here and work all the retail establishments? Wow...

Nice new coffee house near the river. The coffee was yummy. Lots of seating and quick service. I gave it 4 stars because they need more fresh made breakfast options. But the ham and cheese croissant was surprisingly good!

Revised 12/16/17: I'm not one to take freebies from business owners or managers based on reviews (as offered after my below review), so since I was back in the area I figured I would swing by again and try the espresso on my own. I'm pleased to say that it is MUCH improved from my last visit. The three blend was very smooth and the acidity was much more complimentary of a traditional shot of espresso. I was also surprised at the attention the barista gave to the design in my wife's foam considering it was to go and would just have a lid put on it. Much better experience than last time!

The double espresso only filled up half an espresso mug and was the most acidic shot of espresso I've ever had. My fiancee even advised me not to finish it it was so acidic. The ham and gruyere croissant was the highlight of our stop, and even that wasn't heated all the way through with cheese melting out and cold ham inside. Maybe we just struck out on this visit as other reviewers seem to enjoy it, but that espresso was unbearable, and I'm a coffee glutton who will drink just about anything... Unfortunately I cannot recommend this as a good coffee roaster, as their espresso was just that bad.

Horrible, terrible service on the part of a weekend counter-person who left me standing at the counter as she continued to visit with a couple before me. After some time, the gentleman ahead of me pointed out to the young lady who was completely ignoring me that I "had some money" referring to the fact that a five dollar bill was in my hand. I think he was a bit chagrined that he and his partner were distracting the order of business. At least he was aware that I was a customer that should have been given service whereas the employee didn't seem to have a clue. Once she was made aware of my presence she took the two steps needed to face me and just looked at me, saying nothing. Not a word. It was as if I was a bother--How dare I interrupt her visiting. I should have walked out, but was on a mission for my wife to fetch her a soy latte. I don't think in all of my 71 years have I been treated so poorly as a customer, and I have had some pretty bad experiences over the years. This one tops them all. On a positive note, my wife loved the latte.
