Remedy Café

Awful customer service. I’m a very patient individual, but waiting 25 minutes for a smoothie when you’re the only one in a cafe is ridiculous. Additionally, I got snapped at for asking about the status of my order. I think further staff training is needed on time management and being courteous to customers when they’re concerned about the time an order is taking.

An awesome place for a quick bite that makes you feel great!! This place offers an array of yummy choices that'll give you a boost of energy while also making your tummy happy. Also, the owners and staff are some of the sweetest people! You'll be sure to leave with a smile. My personal favorite is the Hood River(Buddha) Bowl (Pro tip: add spinach.).

I tried several things, but the kale coffee was the most interesting thing. It's hard to describe, but the first taste was slightly like kale. Then the coffee taste hit me, followed by a strong cacoa flavor. It was creamy because of the almond milk as well. However it was a little grainy towards the bottom because of the ginger and coconut crystals. But I highly enjoyed trying this out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a sense of food adventure! Everyone should also try a smoothie. They have several and all of them looked great. I can't remember the name of mine, but it had green in the name. It was amazing!

When I arrived the lady at the register was great. If I had to guess I would say she's the owner. She was helpful with my questions and gave suggestions to match my craving. All was good, paid and left a tip and waited for my order. I mentioned to the young male working that the paper towel machine was broken and he scowled and said "I know". I was surprised at this response but I smiled and moved back to my group. There was only one other pair of ladies in the restaurant and my group. They didn't order so it's just one drink. I saw the nicer lady wave goodbye and leave the shop. Twenty minutes go by and I was worried I missed my cocoa smoothie with a shot of coffee added. Finally another young lady brings the smoothie but the shot of coffee is mistakenly on the side. When I placed my order I specifically was worried that the coffee would melt the smoothie but the lady mentioned she does it all the time and extra ice would help. When I mentioned this the girl said "oh she didn't tell me that". Loved the menu items but the execution threw me. 5 stars for the nice lady at the register. 20 min is a long time to wait for a smoothie with a nearly empty place. Hopefully this helps, I'd like to try it again sometime.

The food and drink selection is refreshing. Simple ingredients, (normally) smiling faces and quick service is common here. I enjoy the glory salad bowl with extra sauce! There is usually really cool artwork on the walls as well. Located in the middle of downtown with easily accessable metered parking.

Raw tofu in my bowl. Raw! I can't even express how disappointing it is to pay 10 dollars for something and it's all just ingredients that come from a grocery store bag (at least, it tasted that way). This felt like a waste of calories- go elsewhere.

This place is wonder! Clean, healthy, quality foods and drinks. I am an avid greens juicer, so I knew I’d be picky about any green juice anywhere.. Remedy Cafe truly scored an A+ in my book. The juice was wonderful as was the burrito I had today! I highly recommend Remedy 👍

Delicious coffee and smoothies! I love that the nut milk is made in house. You know that everything is of the highest quality. Very relaxed place to have a snack. Will definitely return on my next trip to Hood River!

I stop in whenever I'm in town and as always they have wonderful smoothies that are fresh and delicious! Friendly staff too! :)

Exceptionally friendly service, amazing smoothies. I had the Berry smoothie, excellent. Highly recommend!
