Freshies Bagels and Juice

I've had the bagels here a long time ago, I live across the river so I don't get here much. They were good then, but today I can say I had one of the best bagels in my life. It compares equally only to a place that doesn't exist anymore, in Tillamook, which had the best bagels I've ever had, before this one. This one today (I got the jalapeño cheddar, toasted, with cream cheese) was perfectly springy and tender, and not too dense inside, with just the right toothy chew outside. I can't wait to have another.

This place never fails. Bagels are handmade in the shop. I’ve been up and down the West Coast and have never found a bagel shop that delivers like this. It’s always sooo good. Literally, I do think it’s one of the best bagel shops on the West Coast, it’s low-key one of the top shops for bagels.

Really great bagels that they make right there; really good, fresh smoothies made from scratch; good coffee. Friendly staff. Best part, though, I accidently left my wallet there in the restroom, called them, Elizabeth held onto it for me until I could get back there 4 days later. All credit cards and all cash was still in it. So appreciated!

The entire staff here seems great! Special shout out to Aliyah for making the most delicious smoothie!!

Just waited 30 min for a simple egg sandwich. The work staff is obviously distracted by the locals who ordered after me and were served before me. This place needs management. The irresponsible staff might be smoking too much of the cannabis from the shop next door.

Best hangover breakfast well into the early afternoon.

Great for taking to-go, hiding in bed and watching cartoons, or walking down to the river for a little picnic lunch on the grass.

The bagels are dank and keep getting better and more consistent.

The California Roast Beef on the Everything Bagel is my FAVORITE bagel sandwich of all time.

They also have a delicious selection of juices. I particularly love the Watermelon-Strawberry-Mint one. MintBerryMelon, I think. So refreshing. Fresh fruit on offer as a side for your sandwich is a nice touch to round out your meal and add some fiber to your meal.

Bagels were top notch and the Lox was very tasty. Lots of options and good pricing for a dozen fresh bagels.

We just went to this place for some breakfast sandwiches and the girl behind the counter making the sandwiches wasn’t wearing any gloves. Touching all the bagels, toppings, etc and wiping her hands on her pants...then touching the bagels again. 🤢 Major health department violation.

Unfort when saying yes to the question of mustard, usually we're talking yellow mustard. But location uses Dijon and plenty of it. Unfort had to toss the bagel but ate the ham and cheese. Other sandwich was enjoyed by friends with no complaints. Smoothie was delicious.

It might have been because I was hungry after a day of climbing and a night of camping. But those breakfast bagels were delicious (I am drooling while thinking about it). The McGriddle should feel ashamed when compared to what Freshies offers.
