Freshies Bagels and Juice

Great bagels with a great assortment to choose from. They have bags of day-old bagels for $5, which is a great deal. We had the 'Sausage Freshie', and it was a meal unto itself. Employees should wear gloves when handling food.

We stopped in Hood River today and came across this little shop … BEST BAGELS I’ve had since I moved from NY State 24 years ago … I wish it were closer to home … I guess I could move to Hood River … … I just love their bagels. I ate one there and bought a few to take home …😋

Great fresh bagels. Butter or cream cheese options in the $3 range. Loaded up in the $8 to $9 range. Nice atmosphere.

Solid. Solid. Solid. Ordered 2 veggie breakfast sandwiches and a smoothie, SUPER FAST! The food was great, the bagel was fresh and darn tasty. The smoothie was killer too. Worthy of 11 stars!

The bagel freshie sandwich here was jusy insanely good. It was so good we went back to order another to go for a snack later in the day.

Yikes. Got a green juice and a bagel with a side of salmon cream cheese. The bagel was very bready, not chewy like a bagel should be. The cream cheese had a huge hardened chunk of salmon in it which consisted for the majority of the tiny little cup of it I got. Normally I’d think of this as a bonus but it only made it evident how poor quality the salmon was- it was rock solid. Gross. The juice was okay but for $8 I’d expect a 16 oz, not 12. As the green juice, I had hoped for most veggie taste, but it was very clearly 90% green apple. So basically $8 for an apple juice. Not sure why this place us such good reviews- I was super disappointed.

Freshies was a great place to have our farewell breakfast with friends for our ski weekend together. The bagels are delicious, the sandwiches varied, and the coffee quite good. Our kids all finished their food and had a great time reading the books and playing with the toys. It's a great place if you need to get some food to go on your way up the mountain.

Nice spot with lots of seating, great prices, and fantastic bagels.

This place is usually pretty good but this time was horrible. Workers were moving like molasses, and the woman who came in behind us got served before us. I realize it's not a fast food place but it would be appreciated if the workers stopped chatting long enough to make our food. Big glob of mustard in the middle of one sandwich, and I only got half the amount of lox that is usually on their sandwiches. All sandwiches come with chips yet none of the people who were before us got theirs, and when I asked for ours the worker pulled them out from under the counter after acting surprised I wanted them.
