The owner and her daughter are two of the kindest individuals I could have encountered. My partner and I traveled from Utah and stopped by this shop as tea enthusiasts. We were not disappointed at all!
The bread pudding is beyond divine and the tea selections were really impressive. If you have a chance to try the Victorian tea, it is a must. Again, this really was charming, wonderful, and full of the warmest people you could encounter.

We had lunch here today, They were so friendly and the food was delicious! Made my husband and I feel like family, they even greeted our newborn baby girl:) The Salmon Bisque was so tasty. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Always first rate food. Super service.
If anything, both food and service get better every year. Never disappointed in over seven years.

Service was very slow- only 2 waitresses. Waitresses did not check on us periodically throughout our Royal Tea time. Not detailed oriented. Waitress asked if we had our biscuit and lemon curd yet, I said “not yet” we have been waiting 25 minutes. She did apologize but waitresses could be trained to introduce themselves and pay attention to details more. Customer Service is still very important. It was a nice atmosphere though. Not sure I will be back!

What a fun place! Excellent tea, great authentic English fare, beautiful setting, and such a cozy ambience inside. The wait staff are knowledgeable and so friendly. We highly recommend this place!

Food was very good, buy they quoted one price at the table , that changed and more money was added on the ticket .On line the price quoted was for two people but, really was for one .The owner was very nice and so was the inexperienced wait staff. I wouldn't go there again. With tea there should be two 3 tier serving trays, one savorie and one sweet. We had a reservation and were seated round a corner where the wait staff could not see us then people coming in off the street with no reservations were seated more centrally and we were forgotten. Had the menu prices been accurate and the seating been so we could get promt service the outing would not have been bad. Without those things the whole was definitely sub par. Unfortunately we cannot recommend Lovejoys in Florence.

Great food and tea. My dining partner and I are from England and Ireland and found the place pretty authentic. Warm and inviting atmosphere. We plan on returning again and again.

We made reservations for high tea several months ago and were eagerly anticipating the event in the darling tea room we saw in pictures. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told we could not be in the tea room because a large party of 20-30 car club members was expected. They didn't get near that amount and perfectly beautiful tea tables with plush floral arm chairs sat empty the entire time we were in the coffee shop side of the establishment. This is completely unacceptable given we made reservations for a high tea in the tea room months in advance. Apparently it was pointless to do so. We did appreciate the kindness of the wait staff, the fluffy scones, and the bottomless pots of rose and vanilla were delightful.

Fantastic overall with the best clam chowder and scones ever!
It was our anniversary and they really made it a special day and we can't wait to go back.

Delightful British oriented eatery. Serves high tea and many things English. Will go again to try the desserts. Lunch was delicious.
