Lovejoy's Restaurant & Tea Room

Decent but uninspiring. Had crabcakes and quiche between us. Had hoped for better, but it was only okay. The Assam tea was good. Wish we could have been here on Saturday, as the breakfast menu is only for then, and it sounds quite good.

Lovejoys is a grand place to have a great timbre. Winderful food prepared carefully, terrific staff and service. Quite a few teas to choose from asv well as coffees. Comfortable English atmosphere and interesting tea themed decorations. I highly recommend thus family owned and operated

Update (12/07/2017): I feel compelled to modify my review since the restaurant has changed ownership. The prices have increased sharply and the service is ok. The food is good but the quantity and variety is less than it was.

I no longer go out of my way to eat here and I can not recommend that you do either. If you are in town and want a tea then sure. But be prepared to pay more for average.

Lovejoy's offers the best tea room experience I have had by far. The environment is one of relaxed formality. The tea room is clean and uncluttered with plenty of room to move about. I've had fancier high tea in London but the flavor Lovejoy's offers is without question superior. The menu changes but always offers a variety of tastes and portion sizes. French press coffee and entrées are also available if you're dragging along someone who doesn't like tea rooms. Call ahead during the Summer and holiday weekends because they do fill up.

We were driving through town looking for a breakfast place and we luckily found this place. Delicious breakfast (especially the quiche and scones) and a big selection of teas. Staff were very friendly as well. Definitely will go back if I drive the Oregon coast again.

This place was amazing and the owner is super nice. She brought over a tea from Nepal that was delicious. I had the lemon curd strawberry cheesecake and it was heavenly. Very happy we came here.

I am absolutely and completely in love with Lovejoy! It's the most adorable and beautiful teashop you'll ever see. The wood work is incredible and their decor is aestheticlly pleasing. They have multiple selections of tea and you can order more than one! The Salmon bisque soup is to die for, right after I ate it I was looking up recipes to make my own!
There is plenty of space for eating, or even sitting next to a warm fireplace. And don't forget about all the glass things you can buy! They have wonderful kitchen accessories that you can buy and add to your home, from teapots to sugar jars! You will definitely be more than Satisfied with Lovejoy's Restaurant & Tea Room.

We had a Royal high Tea and everything about it was amazing. The food was great as well as the service. We had a spring mix salad and potatoes salad, variety of sandwiches, savory sausage, scones, petit fours and biscuit. And of course tea!

Lovejoys is beautiful and cozy. The food is top notch. Their tea menu can't be beat. They have a wide variety of lovely and delicious tea sandwiches. Each tea meal comes with a fresh scone and you are sure to find a tea to your liking from an extensive list, which includes black and green teas. Finish off your meal with a perfect petit four. This is more than a restaurant; it's an experience.

My experience at Lovejoy’s was fantastic. The Salmon Bisque and the Dover Sole were excellent and the desserts over-the-top! I went with two of my dearest friends and they concur: We will be back!
